It’s hard to tell from the website but there was a good crop of second markdowns this week at Anthropologie. Stock is of course limited on these items so it’s all about calling Customer Service and seeing if you can track these items down. Some of these might not be fresh second cuts, I saw some popbacks that I was unable to compare against older lists. Gemma – yes they can do it over the phone. You will need your receipt as they will ask you for the transaction ID. Call the store that you bought the item from and politely explain why you can't come back to the store for the PA. 🙂

the philly store on saturday had 4-5 daisy quarter skirts (sizes 4-8, I think). Not sure what the inventory is still like but there were definitely some hanging around there this weekend.

I think the alignment of the straps on the silkin trellis covers bra straps. Maria on Infinite Whimsy loved it so check out her review. I tried on the 0 in store and found that it ran large so couldn't get a sense of where everything will line up.

to all those canadian anthro lovers….and to partially answer Belle de jour's question. Anthropologie website will not send any sale items to canada. If you want to locate an item you have to hope that one of the three stores carries it and still has it in stock. Anthro is bugging the %$#^& out of me. They won't send us sale items, we don't qualify for free shipping, certain items are kept off the international website. What good is being an anthro card holder in canada? I have yet to find out.(sorry for the rant, I am very frustrated)

Just got back from the Austin store, and found some goodies (thanks to Carmen for the restocking tip!). I snagged the black velvet Ruffian skirt for $20 (Looks like it was on 3rd markdown at least!), and the striped sailor-esque tee with the purple flowers over it.Also, somewhat surprisingly, found a few Scalloped Dots skirts (4 & 12, I think), as well as the Scalloped Clouds skirt in navy (sz 4), a M brown snakebite belt all on the floor. I put the belt back with the other brown M snakebite on the regular belt section. In fact, the sales room was in quite a tumult, and OCD me kept picking up items dumped on the floor and plonked on top of the racks and rehanging them.Maybe I should go out for a part-time job at Anthro!

I am almost certain I have bought sale items before but I was trying to buy 2 items from this recent sale and kept being directed back to the international settings page. Hi guys,I have two questions, OT though they may be:When should I expect my b-day discount by? I've heard about other March babies receiving theirs but my mailbox remains empty (as of today, anyway).And secondly, I've called the CS line and been given the phone numbers to over two dozen Anthros that should have Snakebites in various colors and sizes, and each one has professed to have none at all! Does anyone know what's going on? I know the inventory updates every Sunday, and of course the Snakebite is the coolest thing since the wheel, but I find it hard to believe that not one Anthro in the entirety of the country has one in stock! Allie S. – it typically arrives by the 10th of your birthday month. It is not guaranteed to everyone though, it's based on a lottery of anthro members.For the Snakebite belt, CS's system sometimes shows that inventory that is on the way to stores but has not arrived yet. Or it could have been delivered and the stores haven't opened the boxes yet. I hope you find one!!
I didn't realize the birthday discount was based on a lottery. My sister and I are both signed up for the card but didn't get the discount so we emailed customer service and they mailed them out right away.

The Big Band Dress by Ruffian is now $49.95. The Greenvale NY Anthropologie had a size 2 today.They also had a lacemaker skirt in size zero as well as a Black Burlapp Flower Dress (like the bold boutinerre in a size that I forget).

Kind of off the subject, but has anyone noticed that Lilly Scott from American Idol has worn Anthropologie both times she performed? Tonight she wore the Manisa dress and last week, the Cockadoodle dress.Also, on Criminal Minds tonight, the character "Garcia" is wearing the Tandem Jump blouse and several weeks ago she also wore the Seurat Posie blouse.Is Anthro on TV all the time and I'm just starting to notice because I've started MEMORIZING their website and beautiful things? This question has nothing to do with anthro; but is fashion related. Do any of you have the name of an office chair brand/recommendations that will not scuff your heels. The spokey base ultimately hits my shoes and heels during the day causing ugly scuff marks. I end up wearing just blah shoes because i don't want to ruin my good ones. any feedback would be appreciated.
