Anthropologie is vying for your dollars this Mother’s Day weekend, offering 20% off everything and Free Shipping today only on orders of $150+. As this community knows I’m on an Anthro break (this post explains why) however it’s still the most-requested brand to talk about. So I thought we’d take a walk through my top choices for the Anthropologie May 2019 Promo Weekend.
Are you looking for a cute new dress? The Anthropologie May 2019 Promo Weekend has some options that might be worth checking out. The Oahu Dress (now $128) above looks promising and so far all its reviews are highly positive. It comes in two solid colors and one print. Another dress that seems very Summer-ready is the Jess Colorblocked Midi Dress (now $112). It’d look great right now with a denim jacket over it and cute low sneakers. In Summer that can be changed up for a sun hat and sandals. More dress picks in my shoppable boutique at the bottom of the post.
Perhaps a skirt is more your desire in which case I’d point you towards the Susannah Wrap Midi Skirt (now $124, above with the Rochelle Knit Tank (now $64) and these sandals). I also find the Adree Lace Skirt (now $120) interesting and the Serpentine Pencil Skirt (now $96) might be great for work.
Below, all my picks for the Anthropologie May 2019 Promo Weekend. All prices in the widget are before the 20% off is applied. Feel free to use this post to discuss this specific promo or as an Anthropologie open discussion thread.
Great selects Roxy! I'll be sitting this one out because the headband I wanted sold fast but I like your choice of sandals and handbags.
The pricepoint seems a little better than usual for Anthro

Thank you! I agree prices seem a bit lower, though I'm also seeing several $500+ pieces among the new arrivals.
I had been stalking this dress for an upcoming event. It was cancelled twice (I guess the timing of them getting it was off) but I did purchase with my birthday discount. I highly recommend it. https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/black-halo-del…
There was also a very cute Jill Stuart polka dot pleated dress I would have considered but it sold out (oh well). Happy shopping all!
Nice. I finally got my birthday discount mailed to me after at least 3-4 years not. Do they found me in Fl? Too funny.

Oh my god Bronzi that is too funny!
Is it spaghetti strap, cream with black dots? If so NM has it online for $445, currently on promotion with $100 off. And Ebates is at 15%!
Yes, I saw it there too! I could not find the black halo anyplace else though.
I am having issues with Anthro. I ordered a top about 6 weeks ago. . Never received it. Contacted Anthro and they indicated give it 10 business days. Contacted after the 10 business days and they indicted give it a few more days. I then contacted my credit card company Citibank who issued me a conditional credit. I HAVE NEVER received the merchandise, and have no idea what happened to it. If I place an order with Anthro the order cancels within 5 minutes of being placed!! I guess this is Karma, the universe or God telling me "you don't need anything new" Horrible customer service as usual!!!!
You've been banned. Once you go through your cc company to get a refund, Anthro/Free People will ban you – even if you are in the right (which of course you are). This has happened to a lot of people.
Roxy posted about this at length recently: https://effortlesslywithroxy.com/2019/01/anthropo…
You are on the bad list. Happened to me when I filed a complaint with CC over something not received. They sent me an email. Whole thing was ridiculous considering item was under $40.

Hi kdwesternPA, in a few weeks you will receive an email from Urban Outfitters Dispute Management telling you that your account is on hold. Reply to the email, tell them that they are wrong to put your account on old because you never received the item and you expect the hold to be removed within 5 business days. You'll likely get a terse response about a "one time courtesy" of them removing the hold. (Gag.) Anyway, it won't leave you feeling much love for Anthro but it will get the hold removed.
Thanks Roxy — at this point I am ambivalent. Anthro customer service, clothing styles, prices, and quality of merchandise has been bad for the past year of so. I think I need a shopping break. I also think I got that email but when i went to find it to open it was gone. They might have rescinded the email????
Didn't receive the dress I ordered either. I blame the fly-by-night delivery company "Lasership". The drivers all seem like their IQ is below 70.
Lasership is the worst. too bad Anthro doesn't do delivery to store in all markets. Thought I read somewhere they do allow this. I'm currently having issues with Amazon Prime dropping packages over the gate to my walkway. Not at the door, not at a secure spot. Ridiculous ….
Did anyone see the 50% a select group of dresses? I was like WTH considering one of those I bought over the weekend at only 20% off. I see that it would not be covered by the revised adjustment policy, so I simply reordered and will return. I had had another two in my save for later and order since 50% off. Not liking this promo game with Anthro. Mother's Day should have been a better promo than 20%….
off my soapbox…
I am having Anthro issues too! I ordered a dress, they sent me the wrong one. I called them and they refunded my money and said I had 30 days to return the wrong dress. I returned it with over a week to spare. They charged me for it anyway, causing my overdraft to kick in and cost me $37! So it's been a week since I let them know that and the money still hasn't been returned to my account.
I DID NOTHING WRONG. I had proof they received the dress in time. They said they hadn't opened the package yet so hadn't scanned the dress. THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. I did everything exactly according to their written policy.
The thing that kills me is they don't offer any sort of consideration or apology for their screwup. It's like they are entitled to screwing over their customers.
I would like to write the president of Anthro and let them know what is going on. I've noticed this happening to other people but thought they must've done something wrong. But now it's happened to me and I'm pissed. I don't want to stop shopping at Anthro but this is fraudulent behavior and I am horrified that they could just charge my checking account like that. Nor do I want to dispute the charge and risk getting blackballed by Anthro when I have done nothing wrong. Roxy, can you help???

I'm so sorry evb. Unfortunately this is happening to people who have done NOTHING wrong as you say. That's what really sucks about all this ridiculousness. Shoot me an email and I can help over my lunch break if needed.
Thanks Roxy, I will but probably later – I gotta get to a meeting myself 🙂
This is BS. Now they are saying they can't find the package that contained the wrong dress they sent me. I sent the package back with their own packing label and have proof it was delivered and photos of what the package contained. So they are not refunding my $170. WTF ANTHRO.
And if I choose to dispute it with my bank, they will put my account on hold. WTF ANTHRO I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG.
evb, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I've done that with other companies, and they usually are quick to resolve the issue because they do not want a bad rating with BBB. However, I just checked Urban Outfitter's (parent company) rating on BBB and they get a D-!! Holy cow!! I have never seen such a low rating for a company. Most well-established companies have a rating of A because they respond to issues in a timely matter.
I have even tried to use a different address different CC , even different IP and they still manage to cancel the order within 5 min. They keep saying i didn't return a dress while I did months ago even provided them with tracking they say they didn't get it.If they would only focus more on customer service rather than being rude and banning people for nothing.
