In love with LOFT? Yes I am! While the quality at many stores has been on a downward slide, LOFT’s quality continues to get better while their designs get prettier! I may be a bit biased since I have several friends who design for LOFT, but in my opinion it’s one of the best affordable shopping options out there right now.
For the next couple of days LOFT is offering a great deal! During the LOFT scary good promo you can take 50% off your full-price purchase, online only. Use the code MYSTERY50. Though not mentioned in this promo, LOFT’s sale is an extra 50% off.
Why shop this LOFT promo? My thoughts…
I’ve had so many winning purchases at LOFT lately!! Their Fall 2018 sweater collection has been particularly beautiful. The sweaters feature the kind of unique stitching and pattern details that I want without being crazy proportions or over the top.
I just bought the lovely Lacy Knit Sweater (now $35, above) in grey. This sweater looks fantastic over slacks or a pencil skirt for work, and pairs equally well with jeans and leggings on the weekend. The sweater is nice and long with a slimming silhouette. I also love the similar Lacy Pointelle Sweater (now $30) which has open stitchwork on the sleeves only.
Even LOFT’s trendier sweaters tend to have classic appeal. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Mock Neck Side Button Sweater (now $35)! It’s so soft. The sleeves are not too belled and I get asked where I bought it all the time. It looks very similar to a designer sweater I’d fallen in love with for nearly $300 more.
It’s no wonder that my closet is full of cute LOFT sweaters! In this promo I have my eyes on the Boatneck Tunic Sweater (now $30), the Boyfriend Cardigan (now $25), the Drapey Open Cardigan (now $30) and the Bicycle Sweater (now $25).
Many of LOFT’s sweaters have cute and subtle details that add something extra without being, well, extra. The Confetti Stripe Sweater (now $35, above) for instance requires a very close look to see all the colors of yarn used. From afar it looks like a simple taupe striped sweater. I love that! The Marled Shoulder Button Sweater (now $30) has beautiful tortoiseshell buttons on the ‘whisper white’ colorway. And how cute is the oversized Loopstripe Sweater (now $35)?? I sized way up to an XL to exaggerate the oversized proportions and wear it over my barre workout gear.
Sweaters don’t have to be just sweaters. The Wooly Pocked Shift Skirt (now $35, above) is the perfect shade of blue to my eyes. It’s one of many colorful skirts in the LOFT scary good promo! On recent personal shopping trips my clients had wins with the brilliant red Button-Tab Boot Skirt (now $30) and the more subdued Faux Leather Button Tab Skirt (now $30). I personally own and love the Plaid Ruffle Skirt (now $30, I sized up to a 14 for length) and the Faux Suede Zip Skirt (now $30).
Which skirts am I looking at in this promo? The Denim Pocket Shift Skirt (now $15) and the Striped Tweed Skirt (now $15) are both appealing for being work-appropriate (with tights!) or weekend-ready.
You’ll find more sweater and skirt options in the shoppable boutique at the bottom of this post.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention LOFT’s great leggings, pants and jeans! My most recent LOFT purchase was the Leggings in Faux Leather (now $30) which I purchased in both colors in a large tall. The larges are very loose in the waist but unfortunately the mediums were not going to make it up my legs, lol. If you like your leggings shiny as I do these are amaaaaaaaazing. So comfy! Very good looking from behind according to my fiancé! It’s no wonder these are nearly sold out online though I do expect both colors and sizes to pop back as people figure out their sizing. LOFT also has very luxe-feeling ponte leggings, including the Leggings in Seamed Ponte (now $35, above).
LOFT makes four styles of pant sizing: marissa/modern (straight), julie/curvy, petite and plus. This means that no matter what your body shape you’re likely to find great pants! I am crushing hard on the Modern Skinny Jeans in Velvet Stripe (now $40). More jeans, pants and leggings in the post-ending shoppable boutique!
Let there be no doubt that LOFT also takes on the trends! They’ve got leopard — like the Leopard Jacquary Sweater (now $35, above). You’ll find camo! And there are lots of faux leather options too.
Below, all my picks for the LOFT scary good promo! Remember this 50% off promo is full price only and online only. It ends tomorrow (November 1). Happy Scary Hunting!
I just got my daughter a ton of stuff at Loft during their 40% sale, including the navy tiled waist flounce dress that you have in your gallery above (she loves it). Warning about the Wildflower dress just below it – it runs at least 2 sizes too small.
Love that green skirt at the end and added to my list!

Love those picks Anthropolitan! That peplum blouse is particularly dreamy.
I love your picks here particularly the fig colour faux leggings! What sweater(s)and footwear apart from sneakers would you suggest for these leggings (casual family holiday look)?

Oh you can wear just about anything with them!
For a holiday get-together I might do an oatmeal sweater and leopard pumps. Like the cowlneck sweater I linked in the shoppable boutique: http://rstyle.me/iz-n/daybthi7ze_. I just bought these leopard pumps http://bit.ly/2F85Xsm and I own these skimmers in another color, but they come in a beautiful leopard: http://bit.ly/2P6xajS
Or maybe one of the pointelle sweaters http://rstyle.me/iz-n/dayb4ci7ze_ or http://rstyle.me/iz-n/dayb4ci7ze_. You could go pink if you're feeling really brave! (I'm loving red and pink for Fall.) Pair that with nude pumps or flats. I find these exceptionally comfortable: http://bit.ly/2P3DIjb
You could also do brown or black boots, even ones that cover the bottom of the leggings. I would look for boots that don't come too far away from your legs so the line stays clean.

Of course! I would love to know what direction you end up going with. We're suddenly having warm weather again in NYC, but I do plan to shoot an outfit post with the fig leggings. Hopefully next week.
