Eye Candy: Store Inspiration

In this outfit: Curated Tee ($48) under Whirl & Wind Cardigan ($88)
paired with Button-Stack Denim Skirt — non-Anthro link! ($168).
Adorned with the Collected Treasures Necklace ($368).
Belted with Checkerboard Belt ($38).

Time for some Friday morning eye candy! This week all of the shots are from the NYC Anthros. With the weather holding steady in the 80s it’s been a bit odd to see so many cardigan-adorned outfits. Remember back in January when everything was short sleeves? At the time I was wondering where all the sweaters were and it turns out they were just waiting for their March-June release. I really feel like Anthropologie is seasonally-confused. If you have photos you’d like to include in this post please email me. I will be adding these (and a few other shots) to my store inspiration album on Facebook.

In this outfit: Jet Stream Cardigan ($88)
with Decked Out Tank ($88) and Joe’s Best Friend ($184).

In this outfit: Birdie Bouquet Bolero ($98) over Facile Camisole ($28)
and Lingering Rays Skirt ($98).

In this outfit: Cobweb Vest ($78) over Byzantium Tank ($68)
with Pinnacle Skirt ($78) and Eolian Necklace ($198).
In this outfit: Plantain Lily Top ($78) over J Brand 7/8 Mid-Rise ($176).
Belted by Cylindrical Braid Belt ($34).

In this outfit: Graphical Dress ($128)
under Sun-Ripened Apron ($32) with Coastal Drift Necklace ($48).

I love the first and fifth outfit, I might try to replicate them. In the fifth outfit that blouse was not on my radar, now I may consider it on sale.

I really like the first outfit. I've been seeing so many cute oufits with the curated tee recently…I may have to break down and buy it. Funny you should mention the cardigans, I recently bought 2 anthro cardis on sale but the weather here is getting so warm…I really don't know if I'll be getting much use out of them before the fall.

I just wanted to say that I love this feature. The only thing I don't like about it is that it makes me want to buy pieces I heretofore ignored, and that's hard on my budget 🙂

The third outfit's mystery topper is the Birdie Bouquet Bolero. 😀

That first outfit is stunning. I love the bright yellow and navy combo, but then again, those colors are my school colors. Gotta have some pride!

All of the first three outfits are calling to me:)

I think the seasonally-confused thing may have to do with the out-of-control air conditioning in most buildings in NYC. The hotter it is outside, the colder it is inside, so a lot of folks need a cardigan inside, so why not let it be a pretty, quirky, Anthro cardigan? 🙂
