Wrap up Anthro’s 20% off promo with a beautiful sweater or two

It’s the final evening of Anthro Day weekend, where you can take 20% off your full price Anthropologie purchase. (No code required; discount applies at checkout.) In Friday’s post I mentioned that you might want to take a look at all of Anthro’s pretty sweaters — it seems like each day there is a new cute layer to ooh and ahh over.

Like many of Anthro’s sections sweaters are still a work in progress, filled with head-scratchers that look like murdered muppets and others with fur in…interesting places. Still too many cropped items and lots of needlessly shapeless, boxy stuff.

Beyond that however lies some really cute stuff! The Blushed Buffalo Plaid Jacket ($128 + 20% off) above is one of the latest appealing new sweater arrivals. Pink and white buffalo plaid?? Count me in! It’s one of several cute sweater jackets making their debuts, a list that also includes the visually pleasing houndstooth of the Abby Cropped Cardigan ($198 + 20% off) and the well-tailored Wool Buttoned Military Jacket ($198 + 20% off). More cute top layer possibilities are further down in this post!

You’ll find lots of cute botanical and floral prints in the sweater section right now, many of which are mixed with preppy varsity stripes (I liiiike). The Gardenstripe Embroidered Pullover ($148 + 20% off), above, at some point switched from a crewneck as shown on the product page to a mockneck. But even with the mockneck it’s still really cute — the mixed reviews are reflective of the product shot not being accurate.

I’m really enjoying some of the embellished options. Above, the Soiree Cardigan ($158 + 20% off) has the slightly fuzzy texture I like with sequins in several different colors and tones. A similar idea and a white-on-black contrast gives the Lili Embellished Pullover ($88 + 20% off) its lovely look, with beaded flower patches adorning a portion of each sleeve.

Admittedly I’m also a bit swoony over the Embellished Giraffe Sweater ($260 + 20% off), mostly because I adore giraffes! The 20% off goes further on this pricey item at least!

Pearls are all over Anthropologie items for Fall, and while I don’t love every iteration, pearls work wonderfully on two cute sweaters. The Pearl-Embellished Sweatshirt ($88 + 20% off) comes in ivory or heather grey, and each version features a mix of two-tone and multi-sized pearls on the sleeves. It’s an easy top that instantly adds a chic twist to any outfit.

On the slightly dressier end, the Brienne Pearl Pullover ($148 + 20% off) has many layers of pearls adorning the neckline on a mango pink fabric color. The Beaded Split-Neck Pullover ($168 + 20% off) is another beautiful example of this trend done well.

If you’re looking for outer layers there are cute choices in that area too. The 3/4 sleeves of the Polka Dot Long Cardigan ($188 + 20% off) have me wishing for full sleeves, but for Fall it’d be easy to layer a long-sleeve thermal underneath it. The Sundry Little Heart Blazer ($128 + 20% off) is a comfy, mid-weight blazer with a the sweetest little heart detail that could be worn for casual or work easily.

Many more sweater posts are below — and you can check all my Anthro Day Weekend picks out in Friday’s post.

I haven't bought anything from Anthro in a long time, but the Mairead Embroidered Cardigan caught my eye. Of course I picked the most expensive item from your post! I'll be holding for a good sale!
