Boden has marked down its sale even further, with some items now 60% off! I’ve had great luck with them recently and wanted to share some of the items I’ve ordered that worked out great for me and as gifts for the holiday…
| The Silvia Dress (now $69 to $111, top of post) has been a big winner for me! Unlike wrap dresses which tend to be too boobalicious on me, this one has that same style of fit with a more effortless crew neck. Everything in this post fits true to size unless otherwise specified.
| While I love the look of the dress with the midheel shown above, they don’t fit nearly as well as the Wave High Heel Court Pumps (now $89 to $104), which are beautiful in the deep burgundy red color seen at top of post.
| I took a chance on the Hanna Seam Detail Dress (now $107) at full price in the Watermelon Floral, and I looooovvvveeee it! I highly, highly recommend it for hourglass shapes with larger busts. I did not have the stretching out issue that one reviewer had — perhaps it depends on the color you order?
| The Hannah looks great with black pumps as shown in the product shot, but looks even better with the ‘Seaweed Suede’ color of The Court Heel (now $89)!
| I gifted the Boatneck Ruched Top (now $38 to $60) to both family members and a friend, and all were delighted! This top is great for chests large or small, and looks great over anything from jeans to pencil skirts. I like it in the simple plain black myself.
| Another gift that was a big hit was the Jennifer Lace Top (now $101) which comes in a beautiful darker red or a lovely navy but with a caveat — the lining doesn’t come all the way down the top. I wasn’t quite sure which size my friend was so I got two. My recipient found that by sizing up in this top she got a better fit with the lining, so I recommend you do the same. In her regular size, the lining bunched up around her waist.
| Interested in trying a pair of wax coated jeans, but don’t want to make the huge investment designer brands charge? Boden’s Brighton Biker Skinny Jean (now $36 to $54) has a higher rise, skinny fit and just a touch of stretch that makes them pretty much perfect (without the huge investment)! These definitely loosen up over the day so if you tend to be between sizes go down.
| I also adore the Richmond Trouser (now $44 to $76) especially with the zillions of cute outfit ideas on the product page…alas, these are cut for a more boyish shape. What’s not so great for me could be perfect for you though! According to my straighter-shaped friends, these pants run true to size with just a hint of give. I love the red check, floral print and glade colors!
