Better late than never, let’s take a look inside Anthropologie’s January 2014 Lookbook!
This year it seems they’re trying something new on the website. The lookbook is presented as one long scroll rather than a “book” to flip through. Weirdly, the only versions of the actual catalogue images are very small so I’ve chosen items that have a similar photo in a larger size on the product page. While I think the lookbook page itself is pretty cool the lack of large-scale images of the catalogue shots make pinning, archiving and such impossible and that’s a really weird choice on Anthro’s part.
As far as the looks themselves go it’s a typical January mix of resort, thinking of spring and a few long sleeve leftovers. This January birthday girl is a little let down but also pretty used to it. Inside some looks that I liked and tomorrow I’ll talk about some of the other Anthropologie new arrivals that caught my eye.
