Guest Post: Have you checked the Home side of Anthropologie lately?

Note: While I am on vacation the community is helping keep EA live! This guest post is written by Chelsea of Haute Child in the City

Hi there, Chelsea here from Haute Child in the City.  I am so excited to be filling in for Roxy as she takes a fabulous vacation to my absolute favorite city in the world.  Similarly to Roxy, I have a love of all things Anthropologie and have been a fan of her blog for awhile.  The items that Anthropologie carries are so fantastic and their overall design is painstakingly and unassumingly stunning, I could lose myself for hours in their stores.  With that being said, I think so much of everyone’s attention is given to their clothing, that much of the other items that Anthropologie carries gets lost in the crowd.  I find the household items that Anthropologie carries are so simply beautiful that they instantly add a je ne sais quoi to anyone’s living space.
And so with that as my inspiration, I’ve selected some of my favorite items that I’ve been eying to share with you lovely folks.  Hope you enjoy!

I adore Anthropologie’s kitchen wares; they add instant pretty to any space.  And I love filling spaces with unexpected and pretty things.  All of these items are just so gorgeous.  I personally own several tea cups that are different from our household set.  I drink my peppermint tea out of them and it’s a ritual that I reserve just for me.  Maybe it’s silly, but it just makes an everyday activity a little more fancy.  An added bonus of the items that I’ve selected, many of these items (for example, the egg container) can second as a earring organizer outside of the kitchen.

Isn’t this couch to die for?! I actually squealed when I came across it on the website.  Though a little out of my price range at the moment, I’ll continue to lust over it for a while and maybe contrive a reason to convince Hubs of its necessity in our household.  I think that your living space should tell a story about you and what your interests are.  I am constantly searching for unique and different pieces to adorn our bookshelves and really any open space that we have to make our living space more interesting.  The remainder of these pieces I am simply obsessed with and would love to have in our home and our great easy additions to snazze up your living space.
Thanks again Roxy! I hope that you enjoy your holiday.  Safe travels!
