Styled: The Community styles November’s new arrivals

In this outfit:
Pinafore Pullover ($168)
Easy Keeper Skirt ($138)
Wallpaper Tights ($16)
Raines Heels ($128)
Crown Of Baubles Bag ($148)
Parthia Earrings ($38)

At the end of October, I called on the Community to help me style November’s Anthropologie arrivals. And you responded in force! I picked out several personal favorites to showcase here, though you can check out all the outfits in the collection here.

First up is this versatile cold-weather look by Gilliantemple. You know that I am a fan of neutral palettes and I love the play on tones here. It’s great how you graduate to lighter shades as you move up to the face. I’d wear my hair swept back with this look to show off the delicate earrings, and top the look off with a cape. Perhaps the Everything-In-Place Cape ($198)?

In this outfit:
Pinafore Pullover ($168)
Ooh-La-Lace Skirt ($98)
Flapper Fringe Peep-Toes ($268)
Ice Wine Clutch ($188)
Unexplored Pyramids Necklace ($228)

Here’s another look for the Pinafore Pullover from Taty-. I love how Taty- took a casual piece like the Pinafore and dressed it up with glitzy accessories and a stunning skirt (which I just so happen to own and love!). This look could easily transition from day to night. For day I’d take the necklace off and keep the clutch inside my daybag. Come the evening I’d be ready to go after 5 minutes in front of the mirror to touch up my makeup and put that gorgeous necklace on!

In this outfit:
Samhain Dress ($258)
Hiking Ruffles Cardigan ($78)
Subtle Flourish Tights ($18)
Inexactly Exquisite Hoops ($32)
Raines Heels ($128)
Coin Dusted Clutch ($58)
Unexplored Pyramids Necklace, $228

With the holidays coming up your evening looks might be more geared towards parties. And there is no doubt that in the look sno-angel put together you would be the belle of the ball! I’m in love with the Samhain Dress (not just for the name either). The mix of warm gold tones and cooler silver in this look is right on-trend and the Hiking Ruffles Cardigan is an excellent choice for warmth without sacrificing fashion. Topping of the look with the Unexplored Pyramids Necklace only adds to my adoration.

In this outfit:
Spinning Lace Dress ($288)
Moon-Blooming Tights ($18)
Palmerston Boots, ($248)
Ice Wine Clutch ($188)
Unexplored Pyramids Necklace ($228)

The Spinning Lace Dress is getting plenty of love in the Community — for good reason! But what really attracted me to GingerBookworm’s look is how she went for an unexpected footwear choice. It provides a day option for the dress. Throw a military jacket on over this and you are all set! And if the military trend isn’t your thing try a sweater like the Cabled Pathways Pullover ($128).

In this outfit:
Lighted Walk Dress ($398)
Hiking Ruffles Cardigan ($78)
Inexactly Exquisite Hoops ($32)
Falling Temperatures Boots ($188)
Coin Dusted Clutch ($58)

The Lighted Walk Dress is another beauty on my wishlist — though I really hope it makes it to stores soon so I can try it on! I wondered how to make this dress work for work, and I think maureen79 has contributed an excellent day-to-night look. Again the Hiking Ruffles Cardigan is used as a versatile layering piece here. The earring choice is fantastic and I love the boots! The clutch takes this outfit to an evening level. I have wishlisted everything in this look.

In this outfit:
Lighted Walk Dress ($398)
Floating Sparks Cardigan ($98)
Plum Paisley Tights ($18)
Pied Piper Boots ($298)
Anais Bag ($198)
Unexplored Pyramids Necklace ($228)

Here’s one more casual look for the dress. I am in LOVE with the Pied Piper Boots, but yet again they would not fit over my calves. (Seriously Anthropologie — wide calf boots. Please offer them!) The plum tights and teal bag win me over with beautiful pops of color. This outfit doesn’t shout but it certainly has a lot to say. Elegantly done, life@1521.

In this outfit:
Floating Sparks Cardigan ($98)
Hints Of Mesh Tee ($68)
Recurring Theme Skirt ($98)
Bows-On-Toes Flats ($395)

The same cardigan transitions into Suze702’s look. I love how she used the Recurring Theme Skirt and the Hints Of Mesh Tee together. The “embers” from the cardigan are echoed nicely in Chie Mihara’s Bows-On-Toes Flats, which I badly want. I keep coming back to look at this set, it’s a fantastic casual look.

Here’s an option with the other colorway of the Hints of Mesh Tee. We have a pants option! Great choice by smoore9 to pair the Slim Straights with platform loafers. The Karelia Coat has won me over (review coming this weekend) and I love how it’s used here. Overall this is a very complete look and it’s inspiring me to create some more options for this coat.

In this outfit:
Spliced Ikat Shift ($168)
Hiking Ruffles Cardigan – Anthropologie.com ($78)
Andrick Coat ($348)
Plum Paisley Tights ($18)
Pied Piper Boots ($298)
Connected Worlds Necklace ($278)

The Karelia Coat isn’t the only pretty coat in Anthro’s outerwear arsenal. Tracy Reese’s Andrick Coat (review here) is another stunningly gorgeous coat that I want to have in my closet! I hadn’t noticed the Spliced Ikat Shift before but thanks to Ophelia_Finch it’s now in its proper place on my wishlist. The matching tones of the coat and necklace will help to create a flattering silhouette and the tights choice completes this pretty look.

That same necklace finds a home in this decidedly party girl look. The pop of plum — amazing! A leopard topper is a fun choice and the Out Of The Jungle Jacket certainly gives this look a little something extra for a night on the town. Shermineh Ghane took some elegant and sophisticated pieces and created a look that is young & fun with them. I’m mightily impressed!

Another thing I love is mixing textures. This look by maureen79 does an excellent job of making pleats, textured cotton, lace and smooth all work together flawlessly. Even the necklace has a little something extra to give this look a kick. Adore it!

One last look to leave you with. This one features the Gust of Grey Blouse that would be a great addition to any wardrobe. It’s a top that could go easily from day to night, from meeting to party, etc. I’m not surprised to see the Ooh-La-Lace Skirt in so many looks since it has understated elegance. Playing around in tones of grey and blue is always a good way to go. I see tons of potential in this look from Lia’s Closet.

Thanks to everyone who contributed looks! We’ll do this again in the near future.
