Best Of Polyvore: Second Edition

Twirling Peony Blouse (on sale for $49.95, roxy reviewed here)

Note: This post is from EA intern Rebekah!

Welcome one, welcome all! Yet again we begin the trekking through our wardrobes in search of inspiration for the forthcoming days. Yet again, I bring hope! Here are the top favorites for adding some dazzle and sparkle to your closet!

My inner bohemian friend came to life and wanted to throw a little shindig when she saw this little getup. It all lies in the mystery that is the skirt. It’s inviting in the utmost fashion, to swing at your ankles in that nonchalant carefree manner which defines the holiest of seasons; summer. Most outfits would struggle for an appropriate top which meets the specifications of the skirt and would eventually fail, settling for a simple tank top. This tube top, if it can even be downgraded to such terms, is elegant in its color and form, but yet friendly enough to hang out out with the essence of cool in the skirt.

Side-By-Side Flats are not in stock…Pour La Victoire (on sale for $129.99)

I-don’t-really-care-about-the-way-I-look-today-and-even-on-such-I-day-I-still-rock-it- much-better-than-you. I think that pretty much sums up this little guy in a crafty nutshell.

Drifting By Dress ($168, roxy reviewed here)
Valais Tap Shorts (on sale for $19.95)

The colors are the moneymaker here. Honestly I haven’t truly examined the form of any piece in this picture. I truly mean to though, as a good intern and all. I understand there is a dress, cardigan, and heels going on. And then I lose all focus and begin snuggling the in the pretty pinks galore. The entire outfit radiates warm colors reminiscent of a Spanish-style home and that makes me go giddy with joy of reaching for my passport. Now bracing myself I can clearly see that the rigid shoe shape and boho-themed fringed bag are in excellent counterpoint to the refined taste of the dress and sweater. Any smart fashionista is able to recognize that counter-matching is oh-so stylish these days now!

Bretonnes Blouse ($68, roxy reviewed here)
Joe’s Honey Kicker are out of stock…Joe’s Carpenter Kicker (on sale $99.95)
Unpredictable Prisms Earrings (on sale for 19.95)

All-Year Poinsettia Headband is out of stock…Spring Floral Headband($5.80)

The shoes are the genuine kicker here (literally I’m not so sure!). They’re funk-a-delic enough by themselves, so the smart creator of this little doodad played it cool on the rest of the pieces. While the cardi may be a bit too warm for the readers in the midst of their summer, it’s a smart idea for transitioning into the fall months. If layering is your best friend just find a lighter piece to snuggle up into during nippy summer nights. The purse is another standout. The colors and pattern are one for the show and proud to be seen. Together the shoes and the purse guarantee that you’ll stand out during your music festival.

Ambrosial Cardigan ($98, guest reviewed here)
Summer Wandering Tank (on sale for $29.95)

A creative work ensemble! While the shoes may not be the requirement for stricter work environments, trading them out for the Pin-Up Heels ($90) makes them accessible to everyone. Avoiding the boring work specialty, the cardi pumps up the volume, using my favorite pattern on the face of this earth, floral. Really I don’t think I’ve ever met a floral usage I couldn’t find love for somewhere in my heart. Please don’t try to prove me wrong, because I’m sure you be able to. Allow me to stay in blissful ignorance!
