Metapost: Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas

from top left clockwise: South St Seaport, Washington Sq Park,
the Bloomberg Building, Rockefeller Plaza and
the New York Stock Exchange

Everyone knows the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree but did you know there’s actually 10 every single year on Manhattan Island? Living downtown I’m pretty spoiled — I have two within a five minute walk. One at the New York Stock Exchange just a few blocks west on Wall St, and another one a quick walk away at South St Seaport.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas! Here’s a cute story from the New York Times about one of NYC’s longest-running Santas to warm your heart.

Merry Christmas all! And Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Festivus, or Happy Friday as the case may be for some. 😉 I am toasty warm in front of the fire at the moment, doing a 5000-piece puzzle with some friends. (And checking my email on my cell obnoxiously. I can't help it — I'm addicted.)

Merry Christmas, Roxie! Love your interesting Anthro blog, since I landed here earlier this year!Malia Obama in Anthro top (forgot the name, but it was made by the Anthro brand, 'Made in San Francisco'). http://images.huffingtonpost.com/gadgets/slideshows/4191/slide_4191_58620_large.jpg I think the Obamas also took advantage of the freeship promo to get their Anthro Christmas shopping done.
