Many thanks to cpeck, who drew my attention to a new version of Anthropologie‘s website that is loading only on Macs using Safari. On every other combination I’ve tried…from my iPhone to Safari on PC to Firefox on Mac to IE on Windows I don’t see the new version. I’m not sure if this is some ingenious multivariate test on Anthro’s part or potentially, a mistake. (NOTE: The new page has a whole navigation redesign and features menswear as womenswear on the homepage. The old page has the denim decoder on the homepage.)
Either way, have you seen the updated version? What do you think?
UPDATE 2 PM: Seems to be live in all browsers now.

I have been emailing them for months to add a "Reviews" feature for all their items like the UO site has and they finally did it!
I really like their new website and wow, I will really enjoy the review feature!
I had been wondering why the backgrounds for some of the product shots had been different. This explains it.I already submitted a couple of reviews. I'm also hoping others will review, too, as they really help!
I'm ambivalent about the new design. There are some nice new features, but I think the navigation is more complicated and I preferred the old system of seeing what was new within each category. The whole thing feels a bit too Urban Outfitters, but I am excited to see where it develops from here.
I agree with you AL about the "new" category and it not being in the old list form of dresses, blouses, skirts etc…I liked the old way better..But I must say I am very excited about the change and I do like it alot other than that..I've been wondering why there hasn't been any activity really on the site the last week and a half..Now I know why, they were re-vamping the site…I'll be putting the review option to great use…
