Stream of consciousness is coming up, but in the meantime Anthropologie has a featurette up about the talented musicians populating their June catalogue. I’m a bit away from my days as a college radio DJ so it’s with a mix of sadness and disappointment that I admit I haven’t heard of all of these peeps. Au Revoir Simone I have seen live and enjoyed and Annuals are another band currently on my shuffle.
I’m beginning to sound like a broken record about how this ain’t how Anthro used to be, so instead I’ll just say that I think the whole thing is pretty cool — the catalogue is a work of art, the idea to use musicians is an indie-spirited if a bit obvious idea, and the featurette is a nice touch.
