Whoa the Bayan dress hit the sale section super fast. I don't think I saw anybody review it who liked it so that's probably why though!

Oh, awesome! I'm visiting my parents for the weekend and will also visit the local anthro so I'm hoping to see some of these in store as well 🙂

  11. March 26, 2010 / 1:41 pm

Thanks so much for posting this! I would have never thought to check the site and I've been dying for the Plains & Prairies dress 🙂

  12. March 26, 2010 / 1:48 pm

Gah!!! I've been patiently sale stalking the Immutable Jacket. I was putting White in Small in my cart, browser crapped out, went back in, and now it's sold out! I hope pops back online at some point or someone returns one to my local store. My local store only carried the Grey and Navy.

  13. March 26, 2010 / 2:08 pm

Highly recommend the Immutable Jacket. I have the navy and ordered white at the crack of dawn. Now I just pray it ships!! The jacket is so versatile. Also added a few other things bc of the free shipping! Thanks for the heads up Roxy!!

  14. March 26, 2010 / 2:23 pm

wow, awesome! immutable in grey, here it comes :)seems like a lot of people have been talking about it in white. does anyone have a picture of that? I can't imagine wearing it in white, but i'm horrible at visualizing these things in the first place (which is why i have to read this blog!)

  15. March 26, 2010 / 2:26 pm

by the way (does this comment fit with this post?), went to my local anthro on weds and bought these in the sale section that aren't online…tracy reese's granted wishes dress (i know it didn't get great reviews from you, roxy, but it somehow worked on me?) for 79 and certain colors of the assemblage tank (green and grey) for 29.i also tried on the lime juice dress people kept talking about (they had it in sizes 0 to 4) and it looked funny on my wide shoulders 🙁 too bad, it was very comfortable!

  16. March 26, 2010 / 2:32 pm

Definitely surprising! I should be relieved nothing I wanted got marked down 🙂

  17. March 26, 2010 / 2:39 pm

What a shock. I nabbed a few things. Will this change mark downs for Tuesday?

  18. March 26, 2010 / 2:41 pm

oh, and since there's no review here for the short and sweet jacket, ican add my informal on here… (though there are lots online 🙂 i tried it on last dec and the wool is very stiff, so the ruffles stand well. i didn't like it, though, partially b/c the saleslady brought me a size too small and i was in a time crunch, and because it looked funny worn open (too much volume with the ruffles?). i just couldn't get it to lay correctly. but if it works for you, what a great price now 🙂

I'm normally a size 4 in Anthro dresses, although there is bad reviews on the Bayan dress, I want it but unsure of the size. Should I get a size 2 or 0? Hope someone can answer my question.

Roxy,Great sleuthing skills once again! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.CG

  22. March 26, 2010 / 2:50 pm

Anon @ 10:48, if you have few curves you're safe to go with a 0. If you are curvy I would recommend the 2. I hope the dress works for you!!

  23. March 26, 2010 / 3:01 pm

It's no longer online, but last night I saw Girls From Savoy's Into The Night blouse online, down to either 39.95 or 49.95, if people want to look for it in stores/through CS. Also, this isn't a new markdown but there's a grey Deletta Necklace tank in S available on the site right now for 39.95.

On the bayan dress it runs huge. I am a sz 4 in anthro dresses and in the store I tried a 2 and it was too big so I ordered a 0

Roxy and Jinii, thanks for answering my question on the Bayan dress.Roxy, thankd for a great blog!

  27. March 26, 2010 / 3:55 pm

Yay! snagged the Immutable Jacket in Navy! been stalking it for sale for ever…I just hope I chose the right size….most Anthro jackets seem huge on me so I ordered XS (I typically wear a 2 or XS in tops from Anthro) Plains and Prairies dress looks adorable too but i'd rather try it in person first…

  28. March 26, 2010 / 3:59 pm

This may be OT (and posted in the wrong place…) but I was wondering if there were any 32DD/small-waisted gals who could give me some fit advice on jackets? I tend to go for mediums, which don't snuggle in to my waist well, but am afraid to size down to a small. How do you handle this dilemma? TIA!BTW, got the Immutable in Grey in medium! Premature, perhaps, but it makes me SOOO happy! Thanks for the heads-up, Roxy!

  34. March 26, 2010 / 6:36 pm

Nice job! Wish the immutable jacket was still in my size in grey.

  35. March 26, 2010 / 7:02 pm

Thanks SO much for the head's up, Roxy! I've been stalking the Tranquil Flow Tunic and the Immutable Jacket for weeks, and was able to pick them both up in my size. And since shipping is still free, I went ahead and added the Pleated Pencil Skirt in taupe, too.

  36. March 26, 2010 / 8:24 pm

Great job Roxy, I would have never thought of checking the site today for sale. Since there wasn't a sale this week, should we expect a major sale at some point next week or April?

  38. March 26, 2010 / 10:34 pm

Roxy this is the first time I leave a comment, But I've followed you for a long time… I want to thank you for sale posts I would have never known about this if it wasn't for you! I was able to get the immutable jacket in white that I 've been stalking for a long time….Chloe, send an email to community@anthropologie.com they found it for me!

Thanks for letting me know. I grabbed the Tranquil Flow Tunic that I've been hoping to go to sale for awhile. I'm curious how people got free shipping though. They charged me $12 for shipping! Does anyone know how to get free shipping?

  40. March 27, 2010 / 12:04 am

Lia and Beli – thanks for de-lurking to let me know! Your feedback is much appreciated. :)Good to hear about the dealz everyone is getting. I kinda wish they had put more on sale but what can I say? I'm greedy like that.Stephanie – I have heard April will be big for markdowns but I am hoping this coming Tuesday has a great bunch of markdowns since it's the last days of free shipping.Anon @ 7:42 – are you a US resident? Are you an anthro member? If the answer is yes to both you're eligible for free shipping. If you're a US resident but NOT an anthro member, you can sign up here. After you sign up you have to link your anthro number to your account (through the same site) and then voila! Free shipping though 3/31.

  42. March 27, 2010 / 12:56 pm

I have been experiencing problems browsing the Anthropologie website since last night…Does anyone else encounter this problem?

  43. March 27, 2010 / 4:35 pm

J~ I have not had any issues. Try clearing the cookies in your browser. I am so excited because my cart is back to the old cart! I hate the new one so much. (Yes, I am a dork.)
