8 AM sharp (EST) and Anthropologie’s online sale has updated. Looks like the tops section was the biggest beneficiary, though they may still be making their way through the different sections. Hmm, this might be worth a visit to the store after all.
Anthro apparently has a glut of summer/pre-fall items so they’re breaking retail tradition and marking down some items newer than 90 days. (There are plenty of other stores breaking this tradition in this economy.) I’m glad to see the sale but news of surplus stock is not great news.

I just bought the Modern Gallica skirt, but my size was sold out so I had to size up. I'm crossing my fingers that it might work because it is so poofy anyway;)
I got the white eyelet skirt today….it's sooo pretty on! I also got the denim Leifsdottir skirt with the ruffle down the side from the winter season for SUPER cheap.
Has anyone tried on the Light on Water Halter? I'm 5'4" and am wondering about fit: how low is the v-neck IRL and where the orange band (middle) falls on a shorter person.
I think that I got the last small Modern Gallica skirt online last Thursday. But hurray for having a two week window to get the sale price!

I went online this morning and then got to the store this afternoon. There were a few things on sale in the store that were not online. One of them was the Tsukiyama Top which only has a small in stock on line. I picked that up and a moth top which the salesperson said was only about 30 days old. It came in brown and a pretty blue. Both had a shimmer to the fabric. It was blousey, gathered scoop neck and gathered at the bottom. Kind of a light sweater stretchy material. Semi-shear but my cami looked darling underneath. I have never seen it and I cannot find it online. With all these sales, no one is going to buy anything full price any more. I hope they weather this economy.
i bought a top from what i believe as the february catalog for $9.95, and the shadowlight dress and plain & fancy dress both for $40. because i'm a student and my budget is tight, i have never bought anything for full price at anthropologe. in my opinion, most of anthropologie's stuff don't warrant their outrageous startng price. thank goodness for wonderful sales.

Does anyone know what the belt is called that the model is wearing the plain and fancy denim dress? It is woven and has beads of orangish color on the front. I would love to hunt it down. Thanks!
