OOTD: For those unpredictable Spring days

Early Spring could mean sunny days or rainy and grey. Luckily, Boden’s got me covered either way…

Dress: Boden | Slicker: Boden | Tights: Hue | Shoes: J. Crew | Earrings: Anthropologie | Necklace: Free People

It’s so fun when I find a piece like this Boden dress that fits exactly how I want everything in my closet to fit — body-skimming and beautiful. The neckline is so beautiful, especially from the back. I wear a cardigan over it at work mostly but then for date night it can shine on its own. This dress is currently my boyfriend’s absolute favorite in my closet. He asks often when I’m wearing it again. The material is soft and has lots of ruching in it. I found it to run true to size.

The rain coat/slicker is equally adorable. I love trench coats but so few have hoods, and when I’m walking my dog and trying to carry coffees plus an umbrella this becomes an issue. I see that the slicker has mixed reviews online which surprises me as I’ve found it nothing but delightful! I find it easy to layer under and I love that the hood is removable. That pop of red is going to be wonderful for future looks too, I see many ways to use that in color combinations that are fun and bright for the sunny days ahead!

You can see more recent OOTDs via this link. I invite you to follow along with me on Pinterest, where I’m just ramping up to share some Spring picks and style shots from around the webby world.

Roxy you look so cute and you're sporting yet another cool jacket! Boden does indeed have the pretest printed dresses right now, I love mixing and matching like that:)

I may have a cool jacket collection of sorts building up, yes! Boden has such glorious prints this year. I really can't get enough.

Great look and love the details, including the red lining and the amethyst eye shadow. Thank you for sharing, Roxy!

What a cute outfit on you! I love to see looks that are actually weather appropriate and really wearable–it seems like clothing websites rarely show dresses with tights, rainjackets, etc.

I agree Maria! It's been fun to think about complete outfits, including weather-appropriateness. (Even if I am posting this on a day with a snow-hail storm here in NYC, ahem.)

Fabulous! You always mix the best prints and textures together! Absolute adore the accessories–I think I need to get another pierce hole too.

Thank you LoobyLibby!! I got my second holes when I was 18 (much to my parents' chagrin) and I mostly just wear studs there, but I think they're a nice little extra accent. 🙂

You look fabulous in your outfit, especially THAT dress! I love how Boden can offer clothes that look fabulous and they make you feel simply beautiful. Isn't that what fashion is all about?

PS. Buy multiples of that dress. You radiate in it!

Hey Anthropolitan – thanks for letting me know about the Emilie Shapiro earrings you got on popback! When you linked to them I saw this beauty and just had to order it –> https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/astral-travel-
Thank goodness my order shipped for once!! I'm excited 🙂 Roxy wore a statement ring in her OOTD awhile back and I've been wanting one ever since.

Hooray! I'm all about rings right now. 🙂

Any idea of when this promo will end?

    • April 13, 2017 / 10:32 am

I believe it lasts through Sunday, though the website just says “For a Limited Time.”
