Eye Candy: Anthropologie September 2011 catalogue

Anthropologie decided to sneak their catalogue preview photos online a little early this month! I am surprised by the amount of overly flowy tops still appearing in the new arrivals, but the catalogue has a  much clearer vision of what’s to come. I see prints that are in scale. I see heavy, beautifully designed coats. I see longer dresses and delicate tops. In short, I see promise. We’re not there yet (I’m more excited for next month I have to admit). What is coming though looks good.

I was intrigued to see that Anthropologie used several items for multiple catalogue shots this time around. Not sure if that was by necessity or intentional but I like it either way! It’s great to see more than one way that Anthro’s team would style these items. They used to do this a lot more pre-2009 and I’m glad to see the idea return. I found 5 or 6 new items to add to my wishlist. Plenty of eye candy below — will any of these items make it into your wishlist?
