It was also a great opportunity to wear a silver chain necklace I’d gotten from Forever 21 a while ago. I love this necklace so! It’s got tier upon tier of silver chains in a long bib. It’s hard to find the right top to wear it with so I’m glad this one did the trick. I layered it with an old Ann Taylor LOFT necklace that has purple crystals and a hematite chain — I could only find the gold version’s product shot though. This outfit was great at work for a day when I was chasing down engineers for a project; they could always hear me coming from the jangling of my necklace.
For this look, I was playing around with some shades from my Urban Decay Naked palette. It’s amazing and it’s really no wonder to me that the eye shadow set sold out so quickly. A few of my friends were singing its praises (not before it sold out, of course) so when I had a chance to grab a set through a bloggie friend I jumped at it. It occasionally pops back on Sephora’s website — link provided below. If you can find it I highly recommend it! I’m wearing Hustle on my main lid, along with Toasted and Sin rubbed into the crease and above the eye. I also drew on a bit of MAC’s Macroviolet Fluidline eyeliner. On my lips is Jouer’s Julie (a nice sparkly dark pink) with the Glacé liner over it.
