Calling all NYC-area anthro members: author Mary Randolph Carter will be at the Chelsea Market Anthropologie (75 9th Ave) next Thursday (11/11) to sign copies of her book, A Perfectly Kept House is the Sign of a Misspent Life. This special event will take place from 6 to 8 PM.
The book is an ode of sorts to the creative clutter artists keep around the house. Carter spoke with photographers, textile designers, fashion designers, writers, artists and more to get a sense of what makes their non-perfectly kept homes a place of creative inspiration. There are plenty of photos to pore over within.
