Polyvore, the outfit building and sharing website, is giving away $1,000 to one lucky blogger AND $1,000 to one of the blog readers!! Why you ask? They’ve just launched a new widget called the Mini Editor, which allows bloggers to choose any 100 items they’d like for themselves and blog community members to build outfits from. Polyvore calls it a “fun, interactive way to mix & match products and create outfits” and I call it our awesome fall wardrobe budget!
Here’s how it works: at the top of this post is a Mini Editor with 100 different Anthropologie items to choose from. Dresses, tops, pants, skirts, shoes, accessories — they’re all in there! The bottom row of the Mini Editor scrolls from side to side. Just click and drag each item you’d like to use into the the Mini Editor box. When you’re happy with your look just click PUBLISH in the top left corner of the Mini Editor and you’re entered! You can enter as many looks as you’d like between now and September 7th. One blogger and one reader will each win a $1000 Visa gift card. The criteria for selecting the best Mini Editor will be based 50% on how many sets are submitted and 50% on style & aesthetics.
