Looks like July 2010 will be another throw-back Anthropologie catalogue! I am enjoying this trip back to the style of past catalogues and the clothing is fabulous to boot. This morning’s new arrivals to the site mark the transition to fall and it has me wishing for September to try these pieces out. Some of my favorite shots are below — which items are you adding to your wishlist?

In this shot: Clinton Trench ($188) over Grosgrain Peaks Dress ($138)
with Waving Grain Pumps ($148).

(left) – Duchesse Cardi ($148) over Wiley Tee ($78).
(right) – Raining Pouring Blouse ($98).

No model shot for the Mullany Dress ($258)??

(left) – Flower to Flower Vest ($168) over Mighty Adornment Tee ($68)
and Button Loop Skirt ($88).
(right) – Walkway Dress ($158).

Saved my favorite for last!

I love the umbrella blouse! And the button skirt. Hmm.. I was about to place an order at J. Crew, but I think I'll change my mind and place an order at Anthro instead.

Oh so many pretty stuff to add to wishlist. Top of my list Mullany Dress so pretty and love the dots! Raining Pouring Blouse so whimsical and fun. Sugar & Cream Dress perfect for tea party!

i think the unknown sweater is the chocolate box cardi? LOVE the raining pouring blouse but i can't believe i'm shopping for fall already!

  6. June 24, 2010 / 3:34 pm

I love love love the umbrella blouse, and am tempted to order it right now… love that it is silk, too!

  7. June 24, 2010 / 3:38 pm

The Mullany dress is modeled under the Remaining Lilies cardigan. It looks gorgeous!

Has anyone noticed that the product shot, the stated color, and the catalog photo all seem to contradict each other more than usual this time around?Look at The Duchesse Cardigan as an example. But there are others — is it beige or moss?We need you bloggers to get out there and try these things on so we'll know the truth! 😉

They do have a picture of a model wearing the dress….it is just under a cardigan.here is the linkhttp://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp?subCategoryId=&id=18498287&catId=CLOTHES-NEW-SWEATERS&pushId=CLOTHES-NEW-SWEATERS&popId=CLOTHES-NEW&sortProperties=&navCount=930&navAction=middle&fromCategoryPage=true&selectedProductSize=&selectedProductSize1=&color=046&colorName=TURQUOISE&isSubcategory=&isProduct=true&isBigImage=&templateType=templateASorry. I don't know how to make the links shorter.

(Beige or moss, of course, referring to another item, not the Duchesse. I'll be quiet now. )

Holy heck, July is my birth month and all but the Mullany Dress and the Sugar & Cream dress are just made for me. Anthro you are teasing me something fierce with those! Sugar & Cream looks like the same cut as the Botanical Stroll "cat lady" dress as well, making it double appealing to me.The Raining, Pouring Blouse looks gorgeous on the model but I have my doubts about how it'd work on me. I'm excited to see if any lovely Anthro bloggers model it though!

Hi there, Hallowed Hall oxfords, Pinochle skirt, Elkanah jacket, and OMG over the Mullany dress. I'm just accepting that it is summer now and Anthro taunts me with psuedo-fall looks already.

  13. June 24, 2010 / 4:17 pm

Loving the preview-thanks for consolidating all of the looks. The photos remind me of catalogs from prior years, that I used to look at again and again. Wish listed Grosgrain Peaks Dress-but have no idea when I'd wear it. More "practical" items are the Felted Chrysanthemum Heels, Fountain Overflowing Tee & the Raining Pouring Blouse.

These new arrivals are better than caffeine! I feel like I'm on an adrenalin high after going through everything. I've added about a dozen items to my wish list today, but at the very top is the Violet Gloaming Dress. Oh yes, oh yes.

  16. June 24, 2010 / 5:25 pm

Roxy: Once again, we like many of the same items. I was drooling this morning also over the new items. Can you believe the Breezy Ride cardi is in a new colorway :-(. Loved the -Raining Pouring Blouse-Manor Gates Dress-Pinochle Skirt-Walkaway Dressand the unknown sweater……sigh……Wishlisted these already….

  17. June 24, 2010 / 5:43 pm

Hooray!!!! Early Fall!!! And my birthday month! *grabby hands* Also, is that a new version of the Blustery Days Jacket? If so, yes please!!!!!

  18. June 24, 2010 / 5:47 pm

Oh wow…this is most definitely eye candy!!! Such gorgeous shots…I will need to have the Clinton Trench, the Raining Pouring Blouse, and the Mullany Dress in my life for certain!!!!

  19. June 24, 2010 / 5:51 pm

I need to save up for all these beautiful items. Umbrella blouse and Forgotten pond tank, along with those lovely heels are calling my name.

  20. June 24, 2010 / 5:55 pm

Thanks for posting this. It never seizes to amaze me how they keep rolling out absolute beauties! Mark my words, I will own the Clinton Trench and Chilled Ripples Shell. Time to start saving!!! 🙂

  21. June 24, 2010 / 6:05 pm

How I love Fall styles! Seriously, nobody does cardis better than Anthro. I'm swooning over every single one. And LOVE that Clinton trench!

  22. June 24, 2010 / 6:08 pm

I keep staring at the Manor Gates Dress. How perfectly beautiful it is!

  23. June 24, 2010 / 6:29 pm

I see lots of pretty things!

  24. June 24, 2010 / 6:36 pm

The thing I'm really noticing from the catalog pictures is the hair/makeup styling…I love fall makeup and the deeper, richer lip colors against fair skin are so pretty…also loving the curly, pinned-up faux bobs on the models…I watched Coco Avant Chanel last night and now I'm thinking of cutting my natural curls into a bob..lol!also can I just say I MUST HAVE the Sugar & Cream dress? even though I just purchased the Botanical Stroll dress and it looks to be an identical cut but omg i love it!

  25. June 24, 2010 / 6:47 pm

Thanks for the pics 🙂 Like everyone I love the Mullany dress. The funny thing is that it looks like it would match exactly with a jacket I have from J.Crew 07 (not the current JC dot jacket, the one I have looks like the exact fabric and tone, although I am sure it isn't….). Of course if I wore them together I would look like the Doll from Act I of the "Nutcracker" but funny. I am looking forward to my b'day discount 🙂

The styling reminds me of older Anthro, ca. 2004/5 to 2007. Even the clothes and shoes seem rather old-school Anthro. I miss those days and am glad to see it coming back. Yippee!

There's nothing in particular I'd pull the trigger for yet, but overall the fall stylings and pieces speak to my taste much more (seems like I'm not alone in this sentiment!). I'm loving the painted landscape and velvet belt on the Violet Gloaming Dress, the top of the Manor Gates dress is too pretty, the front & back of the neckline is just gorgeous on the Chilled Ripples Shell, and the Luminous Graphite Skirt looks like a great staple piece. The Mulanny Dress looks like the perfect 50's dress I've been waiting for but I doubt I'll ever get my hands on it unless it hits a 3rd cut. I can't wait to see what else Anthro has to offer!

KG – it is! Thank you, I've updated the post.Ladies, I am also in love with the Sugar & Cream Dress. *jaw drops*Can't wait to see this stuff IRL.
