Good morning, fellow Anthro lovers! This comment is off-topic but I'm posting it here because Trade Market posts tend to have the most traffic. Now I know a lot of you purchase on ebay, so I just wanted to give you all a heads-up on a certain seller who has been selling fake Anthro items. Most fake Anthro listings on ebay are pretty apparent in that the sellers avoid saying the item is from Anthropologie in the actual body of the listing and then they toss in a pair of Anthro earrings or something. But this gal is pretty tricksy in that her listings look pretty professional (pretty pictures! nice font! anthro-esque names for her items! "original" prices listed!) and she claims that her items are from Anthropologie. Some of her listings even say that the item is from the current Spring 2010 collection or the upcoming Summer 2010 collection or even that the item was featured on the website! To make things even more confusing, the seller does sometimes have actual Anthro clothing listed. I ran this by Roxy and she okayed me posting the name. Her ebay alias is leblanc911.The past winning bids and her great feedback makes me think a lot of buyers are being duped into thinking they're buying real Anthropologie items. I know a lot of us are savvy/addicted enough to recognize fake Anthro when we see it, but some newer Anthropologie fans may not. I love this little community we have here and I don't want any of you to get ripped off 🙂 Please use caution if you're buying from this seller.
