Ah, it’s Monday night and you know what that means — time to guess which items will go on sale tomorrow. Come this time of week I get emails asking me what’s going on sale. I am hearing this will be a good sale update (though I never get tips saying it will be bad, so take that as you will). Can’t say for sure which items will and won’t make it so I thought it would be fun to take some educated guesses. This post is no guarantee that any of these items will actually be on sale come tomorrow. What are you hoping to see? What do you think will/won’t go on sale?

I hope the Scalloped Clouds Skirt goes on sale! I just caved and bought it last week, and I could really use a price adjustment.I don't think I want the Glasshouse Dress anymore.I'm drooling over the Hydrangea Flurry Vest, but I highly doubt it will go on sale. One can always hope, though!

Hrm, the only item I have my fingers really crossed for is the Lolland Sweater Dress, but I think that may be a longshot. I wouldn't say no to the Scalloped Clouds or the Snowscape Tank though!
I have a scalloped clouds skirt on hold for me for tomorrow- I just saw it in person yesterday and should have tried it on. Also hoping for a second price cut on the hollyhock dress so I can get a price adjustment.
I do like the Gumshoe sweater too. But, I really want the grey one you reviewed the other day – the one with the ruffley front. Can't remember the name. Thanks for the heads-up! Oh, but after looking at the new stuff, I want some sleeveless, a tan and a mexican holiday!

The Fall Foliage Sweaterdress is way due for a markdown. *Fingers crossed* It would be nice if the Strewn Leaves Blouse and Simply Lovely Sweaterdress could make it to sale, too. While I would love the Wind-Rippled Tee to go on sale, it has been selling too well…
Really figuring the Camellia tee will go on sale the day I go back work and after Christmas. I have been stalking it forever!

I don't think the Plaza Cardigan is going on sale, because several colors aren't even available until the end of Jan. I wish it was on sale. What are the new colors of the Gumshoe? They all look the same to me. I have both black and wine (orange) and I bought them 2-3months ago. Does anyone know if the toggle coat w/faux fur (Elevenses) will be going on sale? It sold out online. Thanks.
Hoping for the Snowscape cami!!! I don't think the Plaza or the Gumshoe will be on sale yet. They are still selling well. We will see.

I just wanted to share a puzzling online purchase story with you Anthro fans… I ordered the Web & Loom Cardigan on 12/29. Today, I was checking my order status on the Anthro webpage and I noticed that my status had been changed from "in process" to "canceled." It took Anthro 5 days to tell me that I wasn't going to get a Web & Loom Cardigan after all! Even weirder – While my purchase total on my canceled order has been changed to $0, the "Order History" page still says that I'm being charged $12.95 for shipping. Weirdest still – I just checked the website and it seems like there are still Web & Loom Cardigans available in my size. Does anyone know how I should interpret this situation?

As an fyi – the grand cru dress was marked down at one of the Anthro's I went to last week but I wasn't interested so I don't really remember the price. Whether that's a precursor to tomorrow's sale, I don't know. I'm personally hoping for the snowscape tank and bustling avenues dress though.
Roxy – I just re-ordered the sweater and sent CS an e-mail questioning the $12.95 shipping charge on the canceled order. I just hope that my new order doesn't get canceled! Tien – Thanks for your advice about the Lime Juice Dress. I'm just under 5'6" so I'm not sure whether I'd be swimming in it or not. I guess I'll wait for more online reviews to come in before I buy it.
Ladies, Just came back from my Anthro, Snowscape tank is going on sale tomorrow for $69.95. I was able to buy one tonight since I asked for it specifically. They didn't let me see what else is going on sale tomorrow but the store looked rather empty and the SAs told me lots and lots of stuff is in back for tomorrow. Yeah!
Hey! I saw on another blog that the Elimovna Coat is most likely going to be marked down. Does anyone have the style number? I know it was in the August 2009 catalog but I can't find mine to look it up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to have customer service locate one but I called tonight and they need the style number. Any help would be much appreciated! 🙂

Loved the Snowscape tank, but it just didn't work on me. =(( I found it too long, and even the 0 was a little big. Overall it wasn't overly flattering, and since even the sale price would be hard to swallow for this broke grad student, alas it shall not be mine. Wishing for the Plaza cardigan to go on sale (and still be around in my size!), but not for many weeks because I can't buy anything tomorrow!

Roxy – the Snowscape Tank has been confirmed to me that it's on sale tomorrow.Also, the Bustling Avenue dress has already been on sale in stores for weeks apparantely – just not online..weird.The Elminova Coat is supposed to be on sale tomorrow as well as the Through the Lens coat.I doubt the Scalloped Clouds Skirt will be on sale because the Scalloped Dots skirt is its sister and hasn't been out that long. Hope this helps!

My guesses: Letizia Cardigan – low on inventory on-line, so I think it's a good candidate. Also, Crocheted Cowlneck, not very good reviews, so I think it will get the axe. I think all the party type dresses will have to go – otherwise, when would they hope to sell them? Sterling dress, Starbound dress, Remembering Violets Dress, Frozen Crystals, even the Granted Wishes dress. I think some of these were likely low inventory as they never made it to my store, and perhaps Anthro didn't order many of them and will be eager to let them go. I think it is going to be a doozy of a sale. Lots of new stuff for January (and Natalie gave a preview on her blog yesterday of more to come) so I think they need to move some serious inventory. My 2 cents…….
I wonder if they will make adjustments to items that are usually priced cheaper, for instance the amarena dress would usually have been 79.95 not 99.95.
I'm hoping for the Noisette top under the "it's not the holidays anymore" banner!
