Styled: Wild Indigo Chemise

Anthropologie at ShopStyle

This post is for amers72 who asked for some fall/winter options for the Wild Indigo Chemise ($58).

This dress was a huge hit with us! We agree that many of Anthropologie’s chemises can do double-duty as a dress with the right accent pieces. First we did the more fall-appropriate option (or winter in warmer climates). We imagine wearing the cardigan open with this outfit. You could belt it if you like to keep everything in place. The shoes add to the classic look of this easy dress and we added a long string necklace for an added touch of elegance. A flowery purse is the polishing touch to this one.

In this outfit:
Wild Indigo Chemise ($58)
Hues Unfolding Cardi ($128)
Struthio Platforms ($358)
Chocolate Spritz Bag ($178)
Irenic Necklace ($38, similar here and here)
Oneiros Drops ($32)

To be fair, I’m not sure how “wintery” this second outfit really is. But it has tights! So that counts for something. We couldn’t resist pairing the cardigan and chemise even though they both have flowers. So we took it all the way, picking a floral necklace and earrings too. The ruching on the sweater helps to maintain a shape since the dress is not very structured. The purse and shoes are a nice splash of color. The shoes have a very 1920s vibe to them that we love and we think wearing them over the dark tights will create a vibrant pop. We all want the chemise now too!

In this outfit:
Wild Indigo Chemise ($58)
Tempting Trellis Cardigan ($98)
Carved Celadon Heels ($168)
Opaque Tights ($13)
Abundant Callas Necklace ($228)
Starlit Stem Earrings ($28)
Rebecca Minkoff ‘Stud Devote’ Belted Tote ($345)

Thanks so much for the styling options! I love all the vibrant color options you have put together. Hoping I can make it to try on the cardigan options this week. I already had tempting trellis on my wish list but would have not thought to put together with chemise. Thanks for opening my eyes! Keep up the wonderful work.

What an interesting cardigan in the 1st outfit – I love the idea of the stripey folds being mixed with the pattern of the dress print.
