What would you buy with $500?

What would you buy from Anthropologie with a $500 gift card? The price point is higher than average certainly and there are so many wonderful products to choose from! I’ve already spent the money 4 or 5 ways in my wildly uncontrollable imagination. Below are a few of my better mental constructions.

1. Standing Magnifying Glass collection ($68-$128)
These have been on my radar for awhile. I love the vague early 20th century construction and the point of interest they can create. Mostly though I would love to recreate the photo at the top of this post. I’d buy 2 XS ($68/each), 2 S ($98/each) and 1 L. Total spend: $461.

2. A day-to-evening outfit.
I spent a lot of time in the Meat Packing District last week and was struck by how chic everyone looked. To blend in a bit more fashionably I’d invest in the following pieces: the Openweave V-Neck ($68) with the Plain-and-Simple Cami ($24) in white layered underneath; the Habitual Smokey Avas ($176); the Boulevardier Heels ($180) and finally the Bullfrog Necklace ($38) as a finishing touch. Total spend: $486.

3. The Coiled Garden Quilt ($498).
Hey, intricate ain’t cheap. Total spend: $498.

With an extra $500 to spend at Anthro, what would you splurge on?

Ah, sorry, Meat Packing District in NYC. Sometimes I slip into that — fixed in the post.

The Chie Mihara Frilled Heels for sure, and maybe the Lilac Ombre Heels, too. Yes, that's going above the $500, but I always go overboard at Anthro!
