Anthropologie’s markdowns came a day late this week due to Labor Day. Was it worth the wait? In some ways yes, though this isn’t quite the sale I was hoping for. Anthro missed an opportunity to drum up excitement for the brand heading into fall — many summer stragglers remain stubbornly full price while waiting to make new cuts hurts against other retailers who ran promotions over the weekend.
