Has anyone else had trouble accessing the Anthro website today? I cleared all my cookies a couple of times, but still can't get in through the anthropologie.com link. It's better than it was this morning, when I couldn't get in at all. At least now I can access it through the back door, like clicking the "sale" link through Google. Other than that, I get the "we're dotting our i's and crossing our t's" message. Has anyone else ever had this? Do I need to call them?Thanks.

I was in the Nashville, TN store this morning and if there is going to be more markdowns, I have no idea where they are going to put everything. The sale room was full and spilling out…Then again, some of the items on your guess list are sold out there or they only have one or two, so, that wouldn't take much room.
In terms of dreaming: Around the World Dress, Zigzags and Zinnias tee and Speckled Ink Dress, plus a second mark down for the Bayan Dress (come on!).In reality: the Claudine tee! Best. Tee. Ever.Anyone who's tried on the Zigzags and Zinnias: what size should I get? I know some of you will have an idea from my blog, but I tend to wear small tees despite my, ahem, larger "bosom" – will that be an issue with this tee?

Anon @ 6:18 – you need to request a price adjustment, it is not something that is automatically triggered. You can ask for it as soon as an item is marked down.

Speaking of PAs, I had an awful experience last week when I called CS to ask for a PA on my Longing-For-Yellow Dress. The rep that I spoke with insisted that my dress had already received a PA (even though I ordered it 2 days before it went on sale) and was very dismissive when I tried to get some sort of confirmation for the amount that my credit card was charged.I called back today (after some urging from my boyfriend) and spoke with a wonderful CS rep who listened to my concerns and confirmed that I hadn't received the PA after all! Even though I was technically 1 day past the 14-day deadline, she decided to grant me the PA since I had received misinformation last week. How amazing is that?
So as a former employee I should know this but I had really limited dealings with cs for my own personal reasons so I'm asking here. I purchased something in store and realized right on the 14th day I could get a PA but I wasn't going to be able to get to my store that's an hour away for a few days. So I called CS and they said they couldn't do PAs for store purchased over the phone. And then I called one store that I was doing a charge send from and asked them to do it and they said they don't dothat over the phone. I didn't feel like getting on my high horse, but I knew that wasn't true / she was misinformed. However is it correct that CS can't do PAs for store purchases?)
P.S. I really hope that the Aniseed Skirt gets marked down tonight. I finally caved and bought it 10 days ago when I noticed that there was only 1 left in my size online. Even though it's out of my usual price range, I can't seem to bring myself to return it. Please help make this decision easier, Anthro!
Lauren – I've had similar experiences with charge-send PAs. I always call the store where I did the charge send. I would estimate that 3 times out of 4, the SA says "no problem" and just handles it over the phone. If the SA tries to tell me that they can't do a PA over the phone, I explain that I live in New Hampshire and that there aren't any Anthropologie stores in my area (the Anthro store closest to my house is >140 miles away). At that point, the SA usually puts a store manager on the phone and then things get sorted out. As long as you have the original receipt, they should be able to do the PA over the phone.
Lauren – Oops, I realized that I didn't really answer the question in my previous post. I'm pretty sure that CS can't do PAs for in-store purchases or charge-send purchases over the phone. Every time I've asked CS about it, they've always referred me to the store that I purchased the item from.
if you have an anthro card, do you still need the receipt? i thought the whole idea of the anthro card was so that you wouldnt need to save the receipts b/c they can look up your order history on their computers using your anthro card?
stef – I have yet to see the Painter's Work Skirt in-store.delipickle – you are correct, though I just had an awful experience this past weekend trying to return a mail-order item that I'd misplaced the receipt for. It really depends on the SA you get.
Thanks so much Lola!And delipickle, the anthro card is supposed to replace a receipt, but I'm kind of paranoid now because the last time I needed to use it, it couldn't find any transactions from any of the 3 weeks prior to that date even though my anthro card had gotten alot of use lol (free shipping was going on)!
I know that the Anthro card is supposed to replace receipts, but I haven't found that to be the case. There have been several situations where my items haven't shown up in my Anthro card history, even though I remember handing my Anthro card to the SA. I think it's a good last resort but I always try to save my receipts nowadays, just in case.

I've had great luck with the Anthro card personally. But I have noticed that occasionally it's worth checking that your name and address still come up when they scan it. There was a short period of time when mine wouldn't come up, and the PA said that it wouldn't properly note the purchase. So she re-entered it, and since then, it has worked very well for me. But I've made extra sure to keep the tags on until I'm absolutely sure I'm keeping something for good. I have had cases where I lost the receipt but the tags were still on and they had no problem taking it back.
I wish I could go all out tonight and buy everything I've been waiting for. So here I am, trying to decide between the Aniseed Skirt, Meribboned Buds Cardi, Around the World Dress, Slate Stripes Shift, and a few others. Oye. Question: Just for future reference. Can you get a PA through CS if you buy an item online? Or can you only get PA's for in-store purchases?
