Well I had hopes that the Rushing Ruffles dress would go on sale…but that was quashed when I received an e-mail featuring this very dress and other "knit dresses". I would love for the Through the Clouds tank to go on sale, but I don't think it will..also the Berriboned Buds Cardigan. And it would be nice if the Collected Calico Dress and Reed Shirtdress hit sale.
I was hoping for the Rushing Ruffles dress too… sigh…

Honestly have no idea what to expect after last week but I hope that some of the dresses go on sale, with the latest new releases of all the spring dresses my anthropologie has no where to put all their stock and has taken to putting them in the back or clumping them all together on a single rack. Sure seems like all my local stores are bursting at the seems with merchandise that has been around for a couple of months-come on Anthro stop holding out on us!
I'm crossing all my fingers for some clothing markdowns tomorrow. I have about 5 items I bought in anticipation of sale and price adjustments would insure I could keep them ;)I'm really hoping for:-tic tac toe blouse-reed shirtdress-skybound button up-cockadoodle dress-wright dressand the field game cardigan. I held out forever and finally broke down and bought it. But I noticed that it's now on backorder online until may. I think that's probably a bad sign 🙁

Well I REALLY hope there is a markdown this time, and the wright dress gets a cut. I caved and bought it when my size popped back up because I didn't want to risk losing it. This would be my last chance to get a PA on it. I know a lot of people are looking for a cut on it too.. so fingers crossed!

The Wright dress was on sale on Sunday (in Philadelphia) for $114.98 so I'm thinking that will be on sale in stores tomorrow 🙂

Oh well at least it gave my wallet a welcome break so I'm happy about that. My husband picked up a gift card for me on Saturday for my Easter gift (awesome). He boldly asked the SA if there was a sale coming up (he has listened to me whine for three weeks about no markdowns) and the SA sniffed and said "this isn't Macy's." Ouch.
I just got back from my local anthro and they had already done a few new markdowns. I picked up the claret cup scoopneck which was on sale for $39.95. The only other new markdowns I noticed were the stars and stripes skirt (marked down to $49.95) and the balcony tee (didn't check the price.)

I went to my local Anthro this weekend to purchase the Wright and Around the World dresses and the Shoofly Trench ahead of them going on sale tomorrow (perhaps). And guess what, they no longer had any of them in my size. If the sale does occur tomorrow, I will foresee spending hours on the phone trying to locate my size around the country! SIgh . .

Katie – what the SA said to your husband is so unnecessarily condescending. And stupid. Sounds like something a second-rate store would say. Let's hope Anthropologie remembers what it's like to be catching up to the competition. Because with an attitude like that they'll quickly fall from the top.

Emily, Shannon, Roxy & Jan Russell-Yes, the SA was rude to my sweet husband. Glad I'm not the only one who thought so! I really just mention it because it is funny how they deny having sales. My local shop's SA usually are very snippy. I have learned to deal with them and not take it personally (even though I drop way too much $ there to be treated like that)! I am hoping to move back to Northern CA later this year to be reunited with my sweet Berkeley & San Francisco shops. Swoon.So glad to read all of these tips about sale items tomorrow! Katie — I think you and frequent the same Anthro in VA–the Reston location. I agree the SAs are very snippy there. The ones at Tyson's Galleria are much nicer. All of them know me by name.

Whoooa when did the Bayan Dress get marked down? Dear Field Game Cardigan, please be mine. I would also swoon if the Wind Catcher Dress went on sale (I'm dreaming, I know). But most of all, I am hoping for lots and lots of second markdowns so that I will have more money to blow on Anthro's sale items.
Just got back from my anthro and there will be a BIG sale tomorrow. There were at least 2 huge racks of clothes waiting to be marked down. The cockadoodle dress and the silvered spectrum dress were among those racks. Drifting by dress, around the world dress, all seasons shirtdress (which I'm kind of surprised by), and the field game cardigans were still in their normal hang out spots, but I guess that's not a for sure sign that they won't be going into the sale room, but I don't know why they wouldn't have pulled them if they were going on sale. *shrug*we shall see…
Wow, I'm really shocked that the Drifting By dress is supposedly getting marked down. Weren't they supposed to release another color?Plus, it is such a popular dress, and classic enough to work through the summer.
