email: anthro in our own words

It’s here! This month’s anthro: in our own words newsletter reflects on Earth Day (for real this time as opposed to not). The theme this year seems to be gardening and three Sales Associates’ green thumb/community good deed stories are featured. It all makes me miss my old place up on 76th St where I had my own backyard with a garden. (And mice. And crazy neighbors x 2. But that’s a story for another blog.) And while it’s cool that they featured employees I would have loved to see some fans too! After all, this is the customer loyalty email. I can think of at least one fan who would have fit right in.

The email also portends Anthropologie’s upcoming in-store events for Earth Day. There will be children’s potting workshops as well as container gardening workshops. These events sadly will not be happening in NYC though for good reason. Not sure where I’d put a huge planting pot!

Do you plan on attending either of the in-store events?

I got a postcard a couple of days ago from my local Anthro in Durham NC regarding a spring fashion show to celebrate their one-year anniversary. It's also related to Earth Day but no mentioning to gardening. It things stay according to plans I think I'll make an appearance and see what it's all about!

what a fun email 🙂 i'm planning on attending the children's workshop in austin with my son, though it'll be a little tricky to make it work w/ my schedule that. i wish that the container planting one was being held in my city instead!
