Another intriguing Anthropologie survey

Anthropologie sent out another top survey recently and Lola was kind enough to take a screen capture for us all. I noticed that styles B & C were also in the top survey that Christine received. I think it’s a bit odd that styles D (aka the Winding Road Tank $48) and F (aka the Torsade Tee $48) have been available for awhile. I also recognize style C as the Molded & Melded Tee ($48) that I’m eagerly waiting to see in stores.

So ladies, which three are your favorites? Which one not so much? And oh, this time around Anthro wants to know if you’d buy multiples of any of these too.

C, D, AI have D in the pink and would not buy another color. But, I love, love the puckering trend that is big right now and would totally buy C in two colors if the price were right (read: sale). It is odd that Anthro is taking a survey on stuff that is already available and has been for awhile; you'd think they would know if the items are well received by the sales.

Strange that they included styles that are already released, no?I ADORE the molded & melded. I tried it on in the green (hello color!). I didn't love the climbing cowlneck like everyone else, but this is IT.

Hrm, it is kind of weird that they put existing styles in there. The ones that appeal to me I guess are E, B and maaaybe C if I had to pick a third. I wouldn't buy multiples, although I do think similar shirts like the Wind Rippled/Claudine merit multiple colorway purchases.

These all really aren't to my tastes but C, E, and A if I had to pick. I probably wouldn't buy multiples of these kind of tops. I might if they were on sale/second cuts but otherwise these things tend to not be worth the Anthro price for me.

I want the Molded and Melded in Sky so bad. Style A reminds me of the Feathery Tank, but striped. As for buying multiples, I'm likely to buy multiples of more simple styles in differently colors (like The Climbing Cowlneck). But, I am only willing to do so for the colors. A lot of the colors right now are kind of the same. Lots of gray, pale blue, etc. I 'd like to see mint, or yellow, or peach even. But, I also want my tees to be thick enough that I won't have to wear a tank underneath. I would have bought the Climbing Cowlneck in other colors, except, I didn't like the purple, and the pastels were too see-though. (Oh, by the way, I LOVE the Climbing Cowlneck!)

c and edefinitley!tien, i agree with your sentiments. i am over the whole tissue thin tee thing Unlike a lot of folks, the climbing cowl did not work forme, though i like the colors it is offered in.

Roxy, I'm visiting a friend in the city this week so I hit anthro at soho and rockefeller yesterday. The molded and melded tee was at rockefeller. (top floor on table and looked like it was selling well)I was really hoping to see the two-wheeler shirtdress in person, but no such luck yet.

    F was also available in December!My picks: C, A, E 🙂

E,F,A for me, I agree w/ the others I think it's redonkulous that you have to wear a cami underneath basic tees like this & so I usually end up passing on them. For around 50 bucks a pop, I want these tees to be durable & of quality material.

I like C, D, and E. I have the winding road tank in red and I find it really cute. I'm hoping next time I go to an Anthro store they will have the molded and melded tee so I can try it on.

  12. March 18, 2010 / 5:08 pm

I only like E. Rest are a bit blah for me

  13. March 18, 2010 / 5:08 pm

    B, C, D/E…. couldn't decide between the last 2. 🙂

I like E and B, but then again, I'm not a big ruching fan. 🙂 Ruching just looks weird and bunchy to me.

I like the idea of B for work, but I agree that anthro's tees are way too thin. Unless the cut is just right, they cling to every lump and bump. I typically avoid tees from anthro and look for pieces with more structure.

Oopos, I meant I like E the best, then maybe F. I decided I don't really like B. C is really cute but I'm a stickler for symmetry so I'm not sure I could get over the pucker going down one side of the top

A, B and C are my favorites. D – not so much because the ruffles only made my boobs look even bigger and did nothing for my waist. I don't know that I would buy multiples. I guess if the style looked amazing on me. The trouble is that the tops are so unique I feel like it would be obvious that I have the same top in different colors and I'm not sure how I like that.

D, F, and A for me. I need D to go on sale so I can wear it with my Landing Field Skirt.

slightly off-topic, but i was wondering what happens to items that are on your wishlist but have sold out. DO they still appear on your wishlist? The reason I was asking is to keep track of an item #.ANd thanks Tien about your explanation last week, I finally got my anthro number which I linked to my account 🙂

  21. March 18, 2010 / 8:07 pm

Normally I do not purchase multiples of clothing, however I do plan to buy the Winding Roads tee in at least two different colors come sale time.

  22. March 18, 2010 / 9:46 pm

I LOVE the molded and melded. However, even with items I love, I tend not to buy multiples. My thinking is always that I'd rather spend the money on two different things than two of the same (even if they're different colors). I have regretted this occasionally, though–but never with tees or tanks, maybe because the market is saturated with great choices in that genre. But skirts, blouses, even shoes–those I might consider buying multiples of if something fits well and is flattering.

delipickle yes sold out items remain on your wishlist. 🙂

  24. March 18, 2010 / 10:26 pm

I voted for C, E, D (or possibly C, D, E… I can't remember exactly). I'm with Tien. The Climbing Cowlneck is amazing, but only in dark enough colors so that it isn't completely see-through. I wish that the material was a little thicker!

  25. March 18, 2010 / 10:33 pm

My pick is the Molded and Melded tee. And I agree with Tien about the colors. I would love to see mint and yellow, and even peach would be nice…

E!!!! It is the most beautiful top.I'd love to see some butter yellows and soft peaches in the lineup. I'm so over the muted greys and the neon brights for summer.

I like style A because it looks like something that would fit me. I'm so small on top that most Anthropologie necklines are far too wide/deep for me to wear. I could probably also wear E, but it looks more sheer than A. I don't like sheer clothing. I don't care for the giant ruffle on D.It's always possible that I would buy multiples of anything that fit me and wasn't see through, especially if there were a lot of colors/prints available.

love love A. And B is nice, too 🙂
