Linens and things

Last winter Anthropologie used stop motion photography to tease one of their winter catalogues. And now they’ve applied the same science to their home section for a featurette called “Linens In Motion.” I like it a lot! It’s really mesmerizing. I wish it was longer and utilized more bedding options.

I’m not sure what bed size their stylist is using in the movie. But if it’s a queen-sized bed then wow the Rosette Bedding ($58-$268) looks small. Not a lot of overflow on the sides there. The Coiled Garden Quilt ($498) which comes a little later on in the movie looks beautiful and as anyone who has quilted can attest the price seems justified. I would love to see it in person and I hope one of the NYC stores gets it to display.

I also approve the Wildfield Quilt ($58-$228), used as the base of the first scene. It comes in twin size which is pretty rare for Anthro bedding. My favorite part is how their quilts usually have patterns on both sides. Just flip it for a change of pace.

Nice bedding. Linen is the ideal material for bedding. I like it so much, it is perfect for kids.

Yeah, you know what though contextual spammer? I don't think any of this bedding is actually made out of linen. I'll leave your comment but only because you don't outright link to some URL within. You're still a spammer though.
