Anthropologie double-dosed us with emails yesterday. First up was a tease to their latest set of outfits devoted to menswear as womenswear.
I like most of the outfits. The Francie/Frank one above is my favorite though I really enjoy the Pickford Cloche ($48) on the first outfit. But I think it’s weird how they gave the outfits both male and female names. I feel that it moves the outfit away from being feminine and almost feels cross-dressy. Maybe it’s just me. Which outfit do you prefer?
I think the dual names are pretty gimmicky, but it gets the menswear-inspired point across. My fave is outfit #1 alice/alistair, because it looks so retro 1920 and different. I probably would never have considered pairing those things together, or even taking that skirt off the rack (it looks apron-y), but styled it's fabulous. I like colleen/colin too, even if I'm iffy about the shoes.
I love those wallpapers!
