The Anthropologie cozy favorites promo and other promos to shop this weekend :: Effortlessly with Roxy

There’s a new extra chill in the air in New York City and it has me reaching for all things cozy. Good thing the Anthropologie cozy favorites promo is happening this weekend! Through tonight you can take 30% off cozy loungewear, beautiful and delightful-smelling candles, and bedding so comfy you’ll never want to get out of bed. (That could be a good thing or a bad thing!)

Without a doubt my top recommendation in this promo is the Snow Day Robe (now $97, above in beige and also in red motif)! I own the floral printed version from two years ago and it’s fabulous. So soft inside. Very comfortable to wear around the apartment. I feel luxurious in it. I bought two of this year’s version during this promo to gift. The Splendid Pacific Cardigan (now $55) is a similar piece that’s getting raves among my friends. It’s basically a robe without the waist tie.

Anthropologie’s lounge section is hiding a lot of cute clothing that can be worn outside the home! These items are all included in the Anthropologie cozy favorites promo too. Take the Wendy Waffle Tunic (now $55, above) which comes in 4 colors. It’s a pretty layering piece (the trim looks great peeking out from under long sweaters!) and can also be worn on its own. It has to be seen from the back to truly be appreciated.

There are some very wearable dresses in the lounge section as well. The simply named Turtleneck Dress (now $61) comes in 4 colors including a lovely wine. The Lisbeth Brushed Fleece Dress (now $55) looks great with tall boots (maybe one of these pairs: 1, 2, 3) and a sherpa jacket. And the Rosalina Slip Dress (now $69) is a lovely dress that’s work-ready with the right cardigan or blazer over it. I have more lounge dresses from this promo in the shoppable boutique concluding this post.

It’s not just dresses hiding out in the Anthropologie cozy favorites promo! I recently purchased the Cami NYC Racer-Back Silk Cami (now $111) in silver during Anthro’s Black Friday promo. It’s lovely! OOTD upcoming. Right now the only color available is white but I expect this item to restock. Cami NYC has several beautiful options included in this promo, and it’s rare to see their tops at 30% off.

I also want to give raves to the Brushed Fleece Wrap Top (now $55). It’s unimpressive on the website to me but in real life? So cute! I bought it in both colors as gifts.

Of course there is actual loungewear included in the Anthropologie cozy favorites promo. From the Dylan Cropped Joggers (now $48, above in green but available in 8+ colors) to the Textured Chevron Pullover (now $84) to the Messina Sleep Set (now $55) and the Claire Contour Bra (now $30 and a personal favorite) there’s plenty of relaxing items to lounge around in.

The Anthropologie cozy favorites promo also includes candles and bedding — both areas with plentiful gift or holiday decorating ideas! I’ve included selections from these two sections in the shoppable boutique below.

But first, here are some other promos I’m shopping this weekend. How’s your gift shopping going?

AERIE | Take 50% off all sweaters, sweatshirts and leggings. This might rival the Anthropologie cozy favorites promo!!! Also, undies are 10/$35. | Picks: This sweater in red has been great for casual holiday events and parties; this sweatshirt is in heavy rotation for my around-the-apartment wear; these leggings are incredibly comfy on!

AMAZON | Amazon has extended its 30% off shoes and handbags promo! Handbag prices are as marked; for shoes only select sizes and colors are on sale. | Picks: See this post.

AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS | Ready for promotion overload? Jeans are 30% off. (Prices as marked.) The Holiday Collection is up to 60% off. (Prices as marked.) And you can take 25% off new arrivalsonline only. | Picks: I’m obsessed with AE’s destroyed jeans! My most recent acquisitions are these High-Waisted Jegging Crops (now $35, not actually cropped on me) and these Ne(x)t Level High-Waisted Jeggings (now $42). OOTDs with both coming up; I took a 12 tall in both of them. I recently also grabbed a bunch of sweaters at AE including this striped delight, this oversized cable sweater and this super soft sweater. I’m hoping to get a new AE post up this week and will include photos of as much as I can!! I don’t normally love sweaters with words on them but this one just caught my eye.

ATHLETA | Take an extra 20% off sale items. Discount applies at checkout. | Picks: Here are three tops I own and love. 1. The Clarity Cinch Cardigan (now $36). 2. The Breezy Long Sleeve (under $10 in select colors). 3. The Essence Twist Long Sleeve (now $13). Because Athleta rarely does promos, this stuff tends to fly!

BANANA REPUBLIC | Get 40% off your purchase today (some exclusion; there is a stackable extra 10% off offer with no exclusions!) with the code STYLE. | Picks: This time of year I’m attending 2-3 client holiday parties a week! Because I’m likely to run into people at more than one party, I need lots of different looks. For work events such as these Banana’s Glitter, Sparkle and Shine Edit has been amazing. These items work everywhere from the ballet to the botanical gardens to a hotel-hosted cocktail party. Specifically the Metallic Pleated Dress (now $70), the Pleated Metallic Faux-Wrap Dress (now $71) and the Pleated Fit-and-Flare Dress (now $125) have all been winners.

BODEN | Take 30% off during the Flash Sale with code E8C6. | Picks: The Agnes Fair Isle Sweater (now $84) is selling out quickly and it’s no wonder — it’s soft and pretty and not itchy at all. I think the Christmas Fair Isle Sweater (now $84) is also so cute! If you just want a classic sweater that will last forever, I own the Tilda V Neck Sweater (now $56) in several colors and they’ve lasted 1-5 years so far beautifully.

EXPRESS | Everything is 40% off! (Even the new stuff.) | Picks: Did you see my recent OOTD post featuring two super-cute striped Express sweaters? I also recommend checking out their New Year’s Eve Edit. Personally I love this dress in multi, and this coat works great over it!

J. CREW | Take an extra 50% off sale or 40% off your purchase with code SALESTYLE. If you are a J. Crew cardholder, the code CARDPERKS often stacks for an extra 15% off. (But not always. They turn it on and off randomly.) | Picks: I looooove my Harper Satchel (now $197) in green so much that I took the plunge on the mini version in navy with this promo. While it’s excluded from the promo, the Collection Pleated Midi Dress in Gold Lamé ($298) is a worth a mention because it is amazing on. Totally a holiday party showstopper.

MADEWELL | Madewell extended its buy more, save more promo! You can take up to 30% off your Madewell purchase with code MERRYME. There are 250+ new arrivals to use this code on. | Picks: Rounded up in this recent post.

MODCLOTH | Take 40% off your $100+ order. | Picks: So many great holiday options at Modcloth! Check out this post for plenty of great clothing, accessory and gift picks.

OLD NAVY | Get 20% off your purchase with no code needed; then use code STYLE for an extra 10% off! | Picks: Old Navy’s Cable-Knit Crew-Neck Sweater (now $24) has one of the most flattering cable patterns out there. The Textured Crew-Neck Sweater (now $16-$18) is another winner that I’ve had in my closet for years. If you need a good long cardigan (who doesn’t??) the Soft-Brushed Super-Long Open-Front Duster (now $34) is the perfect choice. I own this moto jacket in several colors. Finally, I also love this sherpa moto jacket (it comes in plaid too!).

So glad for this post! I always find it helpful to see your picks Roxy. Checking out those AE sweaters you recommended now!

Question for the community: are these silk pillowcases the real deal and better for your hair or just hype? (Roxy please change to your affiliate link) http://bit.ly/2RRVNhO

Updated, thanks Tracy Elle! I don't own the silk pillowcases personally but many of my friends swear by them! Now you've got me considering them too.

I bought one, it's really nice but I'm not convinced my hair looks any better than usual. I bought the white but it's really ivory, fyi.

Thank you! I was looking at the white so that's good to know. I decided to give it a try.

Just Athleta for me. I got a pair of their jean (which I love) and a criss-cross sweatshirt. Great prices!

Agreed, so many steals at Athleta today!!

Agree with you 100% on the Snow Day Robe – I have last years version. I had major knee surgery in January and was always cold during a long convalescence. That robe kept me warm and was so cozy and comforting!

It's something every girl deserves to have as a nice little luxury. 🙂

Aww man I could really use that snow day robe! But it'll have to be wishlisted for now as I'm overspent 🙁

What I did make room in the budget for was the Velvet Thelma Duvet Set, a Voluspa Macaron Mini Candle (planning to stock up on all candles during the after Christmas sale) and The Essential Sporty Trousers that were irresistible at $20 bucks!

Btw I've been cross references my Anthro homeware purchases at Nordstrom, I'm noticing some interesting price variances 😉

ohhhh let me know what you think of the velvet thelma duvet. I am eyeing the velvet crosshatch duvet in silver.

I bought the thelma velvet curtains but returned them – not for quality but the color (blush?) was not as pink as on the website. It was more the color of Silly Putty. Ugh.

I sure will evb! I ordered the teal color.

I'm sure there will be a new version next year too!! So no worries, and everything you purchased sounds lovely.

WHOA! That deserves its own post for sure. I'll see if I can get one up by lunch!

Just a head's up, do NOT place an order with Modcloth – they're still backed up from their Black Friday sale back in November!! I'm still waiting on my shipping notification from an order I placed on 12/4 and have seen DOZENS of comments on their FB and Instagram about upset customers and Modcloth is just blowing us off. It almost sounds like it's a joke….seriously, go read all the comments. Today I finally got a crappy form letter apology and a measly 10% off coupon for my NEXT order (uh, no thanks – don't want to risk it), but still no tracking info or shipping confirmation. Buyer beware! You DEFINITELY won't get your stuff in time for the holidays…probably not even New Year's either. 🙁

    • December 10, 2018 / 10:01 pm

Oh my god! That's not acceptable. It sounds like they weren't prepared for their holiday collection to be as successful as it has been!! I'm sorry you are going through this Alice. It must be really hard. (Shoppingwise of course.)
