Feeling ready for another great promo? In addition to all the other excellent weekend promos happening right now, the Anthropologie 2018 pre-Christmas promo offers 30% off sitewide, today (Sunday) only!
There seem to be two main brands of shoppers in the Christmas season: the shoppers who get all their presents and then take a break from purchasing for a bit; and the shoppers who use this highly promotional season to do as much shopping as possible. I’m firmly in the second bucket of shoppers and I’m feeling delighted by all of these promos lately! I’ve been picking up outfit-completing items here and there to fulfill my closet. (My closet, I’ve realized, will never be done. It’s constantly evolving.)
This strategy of staggered discounts seems to be working well for Anthropologie: not only is online stock dwindling, I’ve noticed the NYC stores are packed. They’ve done an especially good job of managing the flow and rush at the Rockefeller Center store — major kudos to the staff there!!
Recent pickups that I’ve loved include the Whitby Turtleneck (now $97, photo at top of post) in pink and the Wendy Waffle Tunic (now $55, above and on me here) in yellow. If you want a deeper dive into my clothing picks for this promo check out this post.
During today’s promo I may buy a few accessories (jewelry, bags, belts!) to keep my outfits fresh. I’ve been admiring the Trifecta Belt (now $55) and the Double-Ringed Belt (now $34) for awhile for instance, and would like to buy the Tabby Belt (now $27) in another color. Accessory picks below. That typed, I'm going to head out into the woods behind my house to see if I can pick up any choice fallen branches to sell. No birch here, but I'll think of an angle.
I'm wondering if they shut off store fulfillment, because I woke up one morning and things that were sitting in my cart that still had 20+ left were suddenly sold out.
I gorged early, there is no more room left for any more sales until after Christmas. So. Stuffed.
Store fulfillment is definitely off. I just saw tons of items at the store that are sold out online. What I would like to know is when are we going to see markdowns? Tomorrow or the 25th?
I think they started markdowns on the 24th last year, but I could b e wrong.

Bought a few things in store yesterday. My stores aren’t open today. Not sure I could get a PA but I’m glad for all of these promos. I managed to get a few things with a discount and it drove me to the store since I needed things right away.
I did buy something full price that I am disappointed to not get the 30% off but it is what it is.

Is this the start of Winter Tag Sale? I checked my order history and it seems Anthro started the tag sale around 12/24 last year.
