As Anthropologie’s latest promotion winds down, Nordstrom’s is just beginning! This weekend the Nordstrom October 2018 markdowns got fresh cuts. Fall and Winter-ready items are included in this latest round of sale cuts as well as some year-round staples and the end of Summer’s sigh.
I have plenty to recommend in the Nordstrom sale! Firstly one of my favorite tops, Wayf’s Posie Strappy Camisole (now $33) is on sale in two colors. (See it on me here and here.) It’s also not a bad deal at full price. The Ruched Body Con Dress (now $34) is also on sale in one color and not expensive at full price.
If you like bold-colored accessories to elevate a neutral outfit, the red versions of the Josah Faux Leather Backpack (now $42) and the Faux Leather Crossbody (now $30) are beautiful. I also like the yellow Round Tassel Clutch (now $35) that comes with a crossbody chain.
Looking for great boots? The Børn Felicia Knee High Boot (now $160) comes in regular and wide calf and has a cute detail in the back. Frye’s Melissa Chelsea Boot (now $160) is a fantastic, classic mid-height boot.

I have the JCrew suede skirt (pint/fringe). I don't wear it often but still do occasionally (similar with my JCrew sequin skirt). Do you still have the BR leather one? I still wear that also. Nordstrom has some great markdowns but I may be shopped out for now (starting holiday shopping instead).
I did purchase the JCrew tuxedo dress with the latest 30% off. Looks like a great conference dress. I did try to buy something at BR but because I had not used my card (which was a luxe card), they closed the account. They said it was a year but I proved I purchased something (a baby gift at gap) 5/6 months ago (based my my order history). Their loss, I won't be buying there anytime soon. I guess they wanted to close all of the old grandfathered luxe accounts.
I have this dress and it's really nice. I love season less wool – it's not at all bulky. I lucked out at got a pop back at 40% plus used rewards.
Despite my hatred of polyester, I ordered the Rocky Road floral blouse before it sold out. I think it's a Nordstrom exclusive because I never saw it on JCrew's website. I hope that I'm not disappointed.

Yes I still have and love the BR leather skirt! I just got it out of storage for the Winter. Bummer to hear that BR closed your card — I had such issues with that card years ago that I closed it and never looked back.
Is it really holiday shopping time already?
