I hope your weekly shopping plans include some time at Nordstrom this week! That’s because it’s time to share my Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale Picks for May 2018. During this sale you can save up to 40% off items I love, like the Selena Faux Leather Backpack (now $39) I’ve featured in multiple OOTDs (like here and here!). In the market for pretty dresses? There are plenty to be found in the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale picks for May 2018! Whether for work, weekend or date night I see plenty of pretty frocks at price points now reduced.
One brand I immediately look to in Nordstrom’s sale is Ted Baker. This brand is a favorite of mine at any price due to its feminine stylings and intricate detailwork. However, this level of tailoring comes at a somewhat hefty price point. Now on sale, much of Nordstrom’s Half Yearly sale includes Ted Baker items down around or below the $200 price point. Among my favorites is the Sarahe Floral Fit & Flare Dress (now $202, pictured above). The playful volume makes my waist look tiny without making my hips look huge. I also adore the High Grove A-Line Dress (now $177) which features a gorgeous bird print and the multiprint Jareye Cutout Tunic Dress (now $159).
Of course, Ted Baker does more than dresses very well! Their markdowns in the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale include purses and luggage too! Here are some of my picks.
I’ve been having tremendous success with Leith this year! I was already a fan of theirs because of their simple yet chic Ruched Body-Con Tank Dress ($56, on me here and outfit ideas here). For Spring and Summer 2018 I’m noticing so many beautiful Leith dress picks! Most all of them are under $100 like the Tank Shift Dress ($55) and the Flounce Hem Dress ($49). Also, there are plenty of Leith dress deals in the Nordstrom half yearly sale picks. The Cold Shoulder Midi Dress (now $41) and the Strapless Gingham Dress (now $45) are among my picks.

My Nordstrom Half Yearly sale picks for May 2018 wouldn’t be complete without some shoe picks too! My top choice is a closet stalwart. The ‘BB’ Pointy Toe Pump (now $375-$407) is a bit less of a splurge now and they are the most comfortable designer high heels I own!
But if Manolo Blahnik isn’t really your speed I recommend turning to Marc Fisher LTD. You’ll find lots of their trendy and ultrapopular shoes in the sale, though in limited colors. Their comfiest pair might just be the Alida Espadrille Platform Wedge (now $100 in select colors, more colors here). If you like your wedges with more height try the Annie Perforated Espadrille Platform Wedge (now $100, more colors here). The ever-popular Zala Pump (now $100) has also made sale!

What I really need right now are shoes, and the ones I like are still full price, so I might not be shopping this sale.
Also, I did quite some damage at Anthro – there was a MAJOR round of popbacks yesterday and more markdowns today, so I went crazy, hoping that some of it will ship and at least one thing will fit. Home sale went an additional 40% off and everything else 25%, so I hope that everyone who snagged some great popbacks yesterday gets their PA's!!

Annnnnnnd, the cancellations for my popback orders are starting to come in. I haven't gotten one for the one dress I wanted most (YET), so if even only that ships I'll be happy. Still, BOOOO to Anthro. I thought you had the inventory problems under control.
I did get a PA for my online order, yeah! I was hoping that 40%off was good on clothes but I'll definitely take 25%! I purchased the Porridge orange tank in store today and I actually have my eye on a few other things. The jewelry is soooooo cute. I would have gladly purchased the Shag Puff chair at 40% off sale but it sold out yesterday.
