Being a city dweller, I walk over 10,000 steps on a daily basis. That’s a lot of striding! So it’s no wonder that I tend to go through shoes quite quickly. I’m always on the lookout for cute shoes at a great price. In the last month or two I’ve noticed an uptick in requests for my favorite flat recommendations. I’ve decided to collect some of my current favorites into one shopping guide! Today, we’re talking Women’s Flats Under $100 For Spring 2018.
What makes a good flat? Personally I like a flat that has just a bit of support in it and is comfy to do tons of walking in. For example, I’m a big fan of ballet flats. I use them both for walking to and from work before changing into my heels, and for city strolls on the weekends. This pair has been surprisingly good quality — my first pair is going on over a year and shows only faint signs of wear and tear. The quality is on pair with shoes that are quadruple the price! I love the sparkly pink color best.
Meanwhile, I was so sad when my favorite sparkly cap toe Sam Edelman flats died a few years back! So you can imagine my delight to find these flats, which register at under $20 and are worthy replacements of my beloved former pair. This shoe has a few different sparkle variations. Speaking of Sam Edelman, some of colors of the very popular Felicia Flat are as low as $45 right now!
Comfortwise, I find that just a hint of a wedge is the most comfortable flat for me! I adore this pair that comes in multiple colors, including a cute soft pink. Also, I adore d’orsay flats with contrast-color heels like this Tommy Hilfiger pair. I love the high back on this d’orsay flat! My heel bone sticks out extra far apparently as I’m always getting blisters from the backs of regular flats. With these higher backs, no issues! They come in 15+ sizes and various textures and materials. Every color is under $30, and some are under $20!
Elsewhere, I’m impressed by the utility of these flats and sandals, which fold up to be smaller than an iPhone and have tons of 4+ star reviews! I grabbed a pair to try myself but they haven’t arrived yet so I can’t give my review.
Finally, you know I’m a big of the knot trend! The green color of these $25 flats has me swooning. This pair of flats clocks in just under $100, but has such cute details that I couldn’t resist mentioning them too. How cute is this espadrille smoking slipper? Most of all, this will be so comfy come those hot Summer days! It too clocks in closer to $100 depending on your size/color combination, but it also starts as low as $50.
Below you’ll find all of my picks for Women’s Flats Under $100 For Spring 2018. Do you have any favorite pairs you’d like to recommend to the community?
When I purchase flats for fashion, I tend to do the more expensive ones. When I purchase for commuting (a conference or back when I was in grad school), for some reason cheap seems to be the way to go as they are softer and they will wear out anyway. I love your amazon picks and may try the first pair (maybe in black) for this years conference hiking.

Thanks Shari! I totally get what you're saying, that's like me with heels. I don't wear flats as much as wedges these days but I have been craving a few good pairs of flats recently.
Flats are my life line!! Never been a heel person so I have a closet of flats??

Agreed on all counts!
Love these flats! I really need a pair of adorable wedges or block heels that are no higher than like 2.5 inches 🙂 That is a challenge to find adorable and comfy.

Hmm I'm up to the challenge! What kind of style and materials do you like?
I love boho stuff as I want these to wear w/my flare jeans.

I love BOTH of those shoes. I think I need the Lindens now lol. You've inspired a buy!
Let's see if I can do the same for you. I can't find any clogs with heels under 3". To begin, I think these get the closest to what you're looking for:

Thank you so much! I am going to try these out: https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/dansko-minka-sandal-…
I think they may be just what I'm looking for!
You have to tell me if you get the Lindens. I want them so badly!!! I just am not sure I'd reach for them w/the heel 🙂
If you order them, go to the Kork Ease site or have Nordstrom price match. They are $90 there!!

Sweet! Please let me know how they work out for you. 🙂 And thanks for the tip! I will let you know if I get them.
Well, I got the Dansko Minka sandals and sadly, they do not work for me. They are a bit too wide (my feet are rather narrow) and slip when I tried them on. Back to the hunt 🙂
