Destination Guide: The Bahamas

This is a guest post! Please join me in Welcoming Alice of Lone Star Looking Glass!

Hey y’all! I’m thrilled to be here today chatting all about the tropical paradise that is The Bahamas! My name is Alice and I am the blogger behind Lone Star Looking Glass, a Texas-based style blog that shares my favorite fashion finds, travel diaries, and everyday adventures in motherhood and beyond in the hopes to inspire likeminded women.

But enough about me … it’s time to talk about The Bahamas! Did you know that The Bahamas is actually made up of over 700 islands? When planning a trip to this tropical destination, how do you decide where to go, what to see, and what to do!? I’m here to help y’all with that – while providing a bit of resort style inspiration along the way, of course!

Nassau lies in the heart of Paradise Island and is the capital of The Bahamas. It’s typically the easiest city to fly into and you can even snag direct flights from many US cities at really great prices. Dozens of fabulous resorts dot Nassau’s pristine beaches but nothing shines as bright at the brand new Baha Mar resort. I recently stayed on the property and I’m still swooning over it!

In my travel guide, I’m sharing the 5 Best Things About Baha Mar – and what separates it from every other resort. But in addition to that, I’m spilling the beans on why I think everyone who visits Nassau should leave their resort to explore the bright and bustling city. With a roundup of the can’t miss sights, shops & foodie spots, visit my full blog post and Bahamas Travel Guide on Lone Star Looking Glass.

xo, Alice
