Here’s an Anthropologie promo I’m finally excited about: today only, take 30% off dresses, jumpsuits and jewelry. Admittedly it’s mostly that last part that has me the most excited (and I wish this were a weekend-long sale rather than a stressful one day sale!) but with Anthro these days I’ll take the good news whereever I can get it!
Dig through Anthro’s dress section and you’ll find some real delights! I own, love and have already worn the Astronomy Swing Dress ($228 + 30% off) at Thanksgiving…and am trying to find a Christmas or New Year’s Eve event to wear it for too. After the holidays it will be great for concerts and special events. It’s one of a small bunch of special event dresses like the Lunar Dress ($168 + 30% off) and Lace Maxi Dress ($648 + 30% off) that seem extra appealing during this promo.
The Shoshanna dress I mentioned above is pretty pricey — most of the Shoshanna pieces don’t seem special enough to justify that price point — and it’s not alone in the dress section at that price point. If you’re wanting to make this 30% go far then dresses like the Nobility Dress ($658 + 30% off) above are beautiful, well worth it and sure to be extra delightful knowing you got a discount on it! Other fantastic options in this higher range that justify the expense are the similar Lillian Column Dress ($658 + 30% off), the beautiful and work-ready Calliope Sequined Dress ($368 + 30% off), the lacey and enduring Carissima Sheath ($258 + 30% off), the long and lovely Cicilia Palm Dress ($398 + 30% off) and the lovely and detailed Embroidered Flounced-Hem Dress ($548 + 30% off).
Of course you needn’t dip that deeply into your wallet to find goodies in this promo. My own wallet is opening up to try the Polka Dotted Slip Dress ($148 + 30% off) above, which looks like a great work option for the entire year. I’m feeling similarly about the Ruffled Tie-Neck Dress ($398 + 30% off) and the Striped-Knit Column Dress ($158 + 30% off). The Macie Lace Dress ($188 + 30% off) can be dressed up or down and comes in a truly stunning wine color.
Dig further and you’ll find some great casual options, from the Ribbed Sweater Dress ($138 + 30% off) which is a remake of an Anthropologie classic to the date-ready Mira Velvet Wrap Dress ($268 + 30% off). The Ballet Knit Dress ($158 + 30% off), pretty dusty pink Ruffled Open-Back Dress ($138 + 30% off) and Layered Lacework Dress ($168 + 30% off) also feel like potential closet staples.
The jewelry section is truly my playground right now with so much eye candy I hardly know where to look! So many great choices await at 30% off like the Teardrop Bib Necklace ($78 + 30% off), above.
It’s hard to narrow my very long wishlist of baubles down but some of my other top choices include the Ombre Birthstone Ring ($38 + 30% off), the Cassini Ring Pendant Necklace ($48 + 30% off), the Penelope Drop Earrings ($138 + 30% off), the Fringed Hoop Pendant Necklace ($48), the Clarisse Cube Drop Earrings ($98 + 30% off) and of course the classic Monogram Pendant Necklace ($38 + 30% off). Many more jewelry delights in the boutique below!
Here are all of my choices for this one-day promo. Will you do gift shopping in it? Shop for yourself? Sit this one out?
This is a great post thank you Roxy! I noticed few dresses that were listed online today for the first time and several sizes are already sold out! How does this happen? So disappointing.
I was trying to find this sweater thats on Anthropologie's home page but didn't see it in their sweaters; not sure if anyone knows which one it is? https://images.contentful.com/5de70he6op10/4XFfFT…
Sorry and its the sweater on the right side, where the model is wearing a hat! 🙂

Hi Guest! It's a new item, and these days sometimes when Anthropologie launches a new item it appears on the site for a day, and then disappears for a few days. (Eyeroll.)
Here's an affiliate link to the page, it will say fiddlesticks right now but should be back to working in a day or two! http://bit.ly/2Ba2DcI
Thanks so much Roxy, you are amazing! 🙂
I will be sitting this one out. I love the Byron Lars choices but I already own 4 of his dresses and rarely have an occasion to wear them (but still love to look at them in my closet). I always think that I will wear dresses in the winter but rarely ever do. As for the jewelry, my local Anthro doesn't have a great selection.
I will only use this promo as a chance to buy the Scorpio jewelry set for my niece. I would not have paid full price for it in any way. I feel like Anthro missed the mark a bit with apparel inventory. They are sold out of so much clothing that they should have had another round of pretty releases of tops, sweaters and dresses. I am sure if they were special enough pieces people would have bought them and probably at full price. It seems like the online inventory is mismanaged. I am scratching my head at the few new releases they do have. Uglier than ever and so sick of resort wear already! These guys need to get their act together! Can we ever have hope for you, Anthro?
Yes I agree! For example, Maeve came out with a really pretty black printed blouse which already sold out in only a couple of days and I didn't get a chance to purchase it since I wanted to wait until payday. I thought, "well that was fast" when usually Maeve items are plenty. It's gotten to the point where if I don't jump at the chance right away I might risk losing out which is ridiculous. They either need to manufacture more items or they're holding back and will re-release again in the future. I've seen Anthro do that many times where they put something out and then it's gone only to be available a couple of weeks later. I'm also already bored with resort wear lol and I cannot stand all the shirts with words on them, they aren't special Anthro styles with cute little details or prints/styles. I can buy a t-shirt with words on them anywhere sheesh.
I agree with Barbara and Jess that the emphasis on resort wear is Anthro's undoing right now–well, that and ill-fitting, ugly clothing. Ugh! In any case, thanks for curating this list, Roxy. I might be tempted into buying some jewelry!
Agree with u both Barbara and Jess!!!
Anthro is ridiculously boring now a days and the lovely clothes go with a blink of an eye and no restocking. I have only a few blouses and tips that I can count on my fingers that I really want unlike earlier years when I wanted everything ???well almost everything
They definitely aren't managing their inventory well. So many items appear sold out online, while they are still plentiful in stores. Have they given up on store fulfillment? I know they disable store fulfillment during high-traffic periods (and I'm sure they want to minimize order cancellations as much as possible during the holidays), but it seems they are missing an opportunity to move more merchandise by making these items available to online shoppers.
I can validate that – I was in a store today and they had tons of styles that long ago "sold out" online. It was really surprising to what extent that was the case.
I've been seeing that for months.
I can't make it into a store today, otherwise I'd probably take advantage of the jewelry promo. I will not order online if I have to pay shipping.
The only dresses I'm interested in are over $250, which isn't in my budget at this time, so looks like I'll be sitting this one out.
I hope this revolving door of 30% off full-price promos will be a lesson to Anthropologie that they are pricing their items too high.
FYI: Anthro's newest promo is an "up to 40% off select styles" deal that is one day only. It's an interesting mix of clothing, winter accessories, and bedding . . .I think I will finally get the Felted Bouquet Scarf: https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/felted-bouquet…
