Is your Christmas shopping done yet? How about Hanukkah? And other festivities happening this month? If not or if so there are two excellent promos happening this weekend that may just tempt you in more gifts — for you and for others!

Firstly, Free People continues to surprise and delight. This weekend they are offering 25% off select items and 50% off select other items! Normally the promo page has about 20 or so items on it, but this time around there are eight solid pages of promo goodies — at least as of this writing! I found goodie after goodie to add to my shoppable boutique below, including the Menswear Maxi Duster ($298 + 50% off, above).

There are glorious coats galore in the promo. I also have the Lotus Lake Jacket ($198 + 50% off), the Vegan Leather Hooded Jacket ($168 + 50% off) and the Bardot Menswear Vest ($128 + 50% off) in my cart.

There are lots of boots both 25% off and 50% off, including winter snow-toppers like the Out ‘N About Chelsea Boots ($115 + 50% off) and the 1964 Canvas Weather Boot ($140 + 50% off, above). Both of these boots come in several colors.

Non-winter boots are also aplenty in this promo. I adore the Manchester Tall Boot ($295 + 50% off), and the Julep Wedge Boot ($198 + 50% off)!

Don’t leave the promo section without checking out all the pretty bags too! From the yummy Loved Leather Messenger ($298 + 25% off) to the fun curvy lines of the Cafe De Flore Bag ($298 + 25% off) and the slouchy goodness of the Paradise Valley Tote ($158 + 25% off), your closet is soon to be filled with bag after wonderful bag!

Meanwhile, Anthropologie has two of its promos going on this weekend. There is a 30% off kitchen + dining promo, which I’ll cover more this weekend in two gift guides related to those topics.

Then there is a 30% off clothing + winter accessories promo, which is hardly exciting me. Surely there are cute items like the Torridon Sweater ($158 + 30% off) that is pretty but too short for us tall gals (I’m 5′ 8″ and it barely clears my high hip, harrumph).

I’m saving my thoughts on the new items for another post. In the meantime several items that pique my interest include the Isabelle High-Rise Straight Jeans ($235 + 30% off) that look great with heels, the Palais Lace Dress ($178 + 30% off) and the Begonia Ruched Dress ($148 + 30% off) and the Sherpa Collared Jacket ($158 + 30% off). Oh and of course the furry armed denim classic, the The Drifter Faux Fur-Sleeved Jacket ($365). Snort.

From the winter accessories, I can only really recommend the Felted Floral Beanie ($78 + 30% off), Scarf ($128 + 30% off) and Mittens ($88 + 30% off). For your other winter accessory wants and desires, check out this gift guide. Earlier today I also published a Men’s Gift Guide!

I’m really sad that most of the accessories and shoes aren’t included in this promo because I have tons of those in my cart, just waiting to be purchased! C’mon Anthro.

Love the cut of that coat too. It reminds me of the Anthropologie 'Edwardian Coat' by Elevenses from around 2005.
      (not my listing)

Funny how so many Free People clothes look like classic Anthro….

That first outfit looks like it was inspired by the musical "Hamilton".

Thanks for alerting us to these great sales!

What happened to the Sparrow brand st Anthro? As the weather gets colder I pull out my old Anthro pieces including cute sweaters and a sweater dress.I don’t see much Sparrow in new merchandise, is it gone?

Every year it seems one of the old brands quietly slips away. 🙁 Although, considering what happens to the brands that remain (Floreat, Sleeping on Snow), maybe it's for the best…

I don’t know if kimonos are still fashionable but I’ve got my eye on a few with this promo. They will be perfect to hide the post baby tummy. I’m thinking thinking of picking up Audubon and rachelle kimonos.

I bought the Petite Embroidered Cap-sleeve Dress during the 30% off sale. I am really glad that they come in relatively smaller sizes that fits me really well. Even better that they have my size in the store:) I am also eyeing for the Illusion Embroidered Lace Shift Dress.
