Checking in with Bloomingdales Friends & Family: Dresses, shoes & bags

Warmer weather calls for exceptionally fun outfits like the Piper Lemon Floral Print Cutout Dress ($146)
and the Mirrored Steff Deluxe Sunglasses, 50mm ($179), both 25% off right now!

The Bloomingdales Friends & Family sale is here, and I’m thinking trendy yet practical for my picks! Inside, rounding up some items I already own and some that I’d like to own with the help of this sale, and some that are wishlist ideas for now…all in photos…

Here are the promotion details.

Here’s the promo: take 25% off selected items (you’ll know they’re included because they will say “FRIENDS & FAMILY OFFER: USE CODE FRIENDS” underneath in the category pages as you hunt). Use the code FRIENDS at checkout. The promo is valid through April 9th and if you’re a Loyallist you’ll get a $25 reward card for every $100 you spend.

Yesterday we talked denim, tops and jackets. Today? Dresses are first on the docket.

The Kayleigh Sleeveless Dress ($335 + 25% off) has a small stretch panel in back
to accommodate a variety of sizes. It fits spectacularly and runs true to size!
Parker’s Jeanette Off-The-Shoulder Dress ($258 + 25% off) looks amazing on everyone
I’ve seen it on so far.
Does the Whipstitched Chambray Dress ($150 + 25% off) look familiar?
I own and love the Anthro version (OOTD here, and another one coming soon!)
The Alice and Olivia Lindsey Embroidered Denim Dress ($485 + 25% off) is so, so gorgeous.
This one’s in my cart with Spring and Summer parties in mind. Right now, tights and booties will work.
The cute ruffles at the bottom make the Circle Lace Ruffle Bodycon Dress ($98 + 25% off) for me.
I picture making it more casual with a denim jacket over it.
Thinking ahead to warm weather events, the Talulah Embroidered Lace Dress ($298 + 25% off)
seems like an ideal choice!
I’m picturing wearing the Floral Mock Wrap Dress ($119 + 25% off) for brunches and dates with my BF.
Ted Baker’s Floral-Printed Dress ($429 + 25% off) is one of those dresses that can do fancy,
work or play equally well depending on how you accessorize it.
It’s one of my favorites this Spring.
A slightly different take on the military shirtdress has me wanting the
Easter, Passover, parties, events, or just because — the Layered Lace Dress ($465 + 25% off)
does it all. Available in pink too. Another favorite of mine — I sized up.
Alice and Olivia’s Lorilee Polka Dot Ruffled Halter Dress ($375+ 25% off)
has Broadway show or Jazz Age Lawn Fest written all over it!
Back to more casual options, Parker’s Banks Off-The-Shoulder Dress ($258 + 25% off)
is appealing to me because of its bright floral print and overall cheery feel.
I love how easy it would be to wear the Smocked Printed Dress ($148 + 25% off)
for work (with a cardigan over it), for play (with a denim jacket over it), for vacation or just because.
Beautiful embroidery has me realizing I need the Embroidered Ruffle Dress ($98 + 25% off).

Tory Burch’s Sinclair Seashell Sandals ($325 — excluded from promo) are such beautiful shoes,
I had to include them in this post. I love the red shade too. Although excluded from the F&F,
they are included in the Loyallist power points offer.

I have fallen in love with all the tassel options this Spring because they feel so happy and festive.
You can get double rewards points on shoes like the Elisha Tasseled Ankle Wrap Sandals ($150, above).

The Luz Suede Ankle Tie Tassel High Heel Sandals ($395 + 25% off) offer a stunning take
on the block heel sandal. Also in black.
Lots of fun embellishments made the
the sandals I needed to order. They’re on their way to me!
Simple yet colorful, the Balisa Embellished Pom-Pom Sandals ($110 + 25% off)
are surely warm weather chic.
The Estelle Studded Pom-Pom Thong Sandals ($125) have caught my eye on the street twice now.
They’re lovely and eye-catching! You can get double points on this item; it’s excluded from f&f.
Count on Stuart Weitzman for a more subtle, neutral take on a trend.
The Jabow Tasseled Sandals ($398) are very wearable and pretty.
Perfect for casual or dressier looks. Shop more accented sandals here.
Turning to bags, I’m drooling over Coach’s classic structured
Swagger 27 in Pebble Leather ($450 + 25% off).
It comes in several colors and is an ideal size in my mind.
I love how Bloomingdales shows nearly every bag on a model to get an idea of size!
Ted Baker’s bags feature beautiful design accents, like the rose gold hardware
on the Oriental Blossom Metal Handle Clutch ($109 + 25% off).
I’ve been waiting for a promo like this to pick up the tasseled yet classic
Dome Tassel Satchel ($450 + 25% off).
Totes don’t get much cooler than Botkier’s Soho Heavy Grain Pebbled Leather Tote ($298 + 25% off),
available in a variety of rich hues. Of course being a city girl I immediately reach for the grey.
Nico Giani’s Adenia Medium Leather Bucket Bag ($450 + 25% off)
has a wonderful clean, composed look I love. It comes in many colors and a smaller size too.
Circle bags are all the rage right now (I have my TL-180 that I adore, on me here and here!).
From Bloomingdales, the Tunilla Circle Small Leather Crossbody ($495 + 25% off)
would be my pick for its smooth features and adjustable strap.
Another trend I’m loving is mini bags. It encourages me to cut down greatly on what I carry.
The Metropolis Mini Leather Crossbody ($298 + 25% off) by Furla comes in several cute colors.
I’m just over here drooling over the f&f-excluded
Luckily, it is eligible towards the Loyallist points offer.
Large stitching lends an urban chic feel to the
This is an example where that 25% off goes really far!
I adore the 3-D flower detail on the Gem Gardens Leather Crossbody ($139 + 25% off).
