Bought & Loved :: Anthropologie edition

Floreat’s Senna Dress ($138) was a surprising win for me in-store!

What have you bought & loved at Anthropologie recently? For me, the renaissance continues with ever more delights awaiting me on each trip in-store, usually followed by some online perusing. Items like the Senna Dress ($138) above made the closet cut much to my surprise and delight. Although the dress is not as form-skimming in the midsection as the catalogue shot would have you believe, it’s still a delightfully easy and flattering summer frock.

Speaking of delightful and easy summer frocks, I must again sing the praises of the new grew version of the Gathered Stripes Midi Dress ($158), which is the best color and fit combination of the three patternways of this dress. The other constant in my summer dress rotation is the High-Tide Halter Dress ($138) in green, which you can see on me here. I haven’t been able to Instagram much recently, but once I will pick up the pace again later this month.

Other full-price purchases I’ve loved lately include the Aludra Posts ($38), the Everitt Posts ($32), the Palestrina Earrings ($58) and the Raphaella Booz Woven Heels ($148) which recently sold out online but are still available in select stores. They’re ultra comfy for such a high heel and run true to size, perhaps even a smidge big.

Over in Tag Sale land, the extra 30% off sale promo has led to some steals for me, like the Daylily Stripe Dress (now $90 + an extra 30% off) which I’d been dithering on ordering and finally took the plunge on once the promo started. I’m so glad I did! The dress is lightweight cotton, fully lined, and not as thick as I expected. (I was expecting sturdy tent or canvaslike material, but it’s actually light and airy.) I ended up getting both colors in a medium! I’m wearing the blue with either the Raphaella Booz Woven Heels ($148) mentioned above or the Jordana Heels (now $150 + an extra 30% off) and the pink with the Lien.Do by Seychelles Morelia Heels ($140).

The Embroidered Lace-Up Tank (now $50 + an extra 30% off) was likewise a great buy for me; I purchased the gold color which I plan to wear with a light denim skirt (shorter than the one shown) and those Raphaella Booz Woven Heels ($148) again.

Some other not-as-recent purchases that are currently in Anthro’s Tag Sale promo include the Cafe Dress (now $80 + an extra 30% off, I took an 8), the Split-Neck Swing Tank (now $70 + an extra 30% off, I took a 6), the Valma Tiered Tank (now $20 + an extra 30% off, I took a M), and the Leonie Hoops (now $30).

Your turn! What Anthropologie delights have recently become part of your closet?
