OOTD: Swingy for spring

Am I falling in love with Spring in NYC? You betcha. Am I falling in love with Anthropologie again? More and more. Inside, all about this colorful Spring 2016 look…

It’s hard not to with pretty, pretty frocks like the easy Lilt Swing Dress ($118), on me here. It’s lightweight, moves beautifully when I walk and travels well. So far it’s already ridden the Hampton Jitney and emerged unwrinkled, walked around plenty of Manhattan adn taken a ride in my BF and I’s new-to-us Jeep Hugo.

That said, there are some trade-offs with this dress. It’s rayon-spandex which means 1 – it’s very, very stretchy and 2 – I worry about these vivid colors staying vivid down the road. So far the dress has not pilled but it stretches out a bunch as I wear it. It’s been washed successfully and I chose to go the air-drying route. I purchased this dress in a small instead of my usual medium because of all the stretch.

While visiting the Portland Anthropologie Department Store, personal stylist Eulalie and I worked to create several fun looks. I can’t wait to show more! You can see all of them via my Instagram account, and you can now shop my OOTDs all in one place via this new page on the blog!

Below, some detail shots. Can you spot my coordinating long pendant necklace?

Speaking of social media…after the frustration of having my Roxy Effortless Anthropologie Facebook account deleted, I’m finally back on Facebook! Get all the details about posts and some fun outtakes on the page, as well as advance information about my next contest! (The page is in progress so please excuse any bugs as we work to build it.) Like me here on Facebook.
