Eye Candy: Anthropologie February 2016 catalogue

and Cava Cuff ($48) welcome us to February!

Hello! I’m back from my work retreat in warm and beautiful Costa Rica to the remnants of a huge NYC blizzard and feeling great on both counts! I’m getting back into the Anthropologie swing of things for a couple of weeks before another trip takes me away again. And what better to come home to than pretty new arrivals? Inside, some preview photos from the soon-to-be-released February 2016 Anthropologie lookbook.

If you’ve sent me an email over the last two weeks it may be a few days yet before I get back to you…though from the emails on top of my inbox it looks as though there may be a sale tomorrow…? (Thanks tipsters!) So two things on tap today — this preview post and the Sale Guessing Game this afternoon.

The Tie-Neck Tee ($68) and Shorebird Pencil Skirt ($98).
Both of these first two outfits are simple yet appealing to me.
The Terra Maxi Dress ($158).
The cut of this dress is lovely, but I wish it actually came in this brilliant looking plum color
instead of the red the product shot shows. Beware color filters on your photos, Anthro!
Your customers end up falling in love with something that doesn’t exist, then dislike the reality.
It’s hard to go wrong with a shirtdress. This one seems very cute!
I imagine it’d be lovely to lounge around the bed in Cozumel in this look…

I have some more photos in my inbox that are slightly older, so I’m not sure whether these are part of the catalogue or a separate shoot. I like them enough to discuss them here regardless of their source…

The Blair Empire Top ($88), Paige Hoxton Ankle Jeans (now $70 — sold out)
Really cute! Work and fun-appropriate with a nice Anthro vibe. I’m digging it!
A reminder that we are in winter, yet an outfit that can also transition to Spring.
Easily my favorite look in this set!
The Chambray Utility Jumpsuit ($148) — much more promising in this blue-grey than the actual color.

As always, many of the newest items that caught my eye are not from the catalogue — I’ll have a separate post about those items later this week. What do you think of these new pieces?
