Anthropologie isn’t the only store having major sale on sale right now; Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly sale is here too! This is another promo I ended up shopping this weekend as the deals were great and I was able to pick up a few things I was looking for.

For the longest time I’ve been hunting for a new black faux-leather jacket. I knew I wanted something under $100 that didn’t look too shiny, but other than that noting has really jumped out at me. Something about this cropped BlankNYC jacket jumped out at me — probably that Nordstrom has it shown styled about a zillion ways on the product page. It’s not part of the sale but at $98 it’s a steal in its own right.
What led me to the jacket is the blue top shown underneath, the June & Hudson Cutout High Neck Tank (now $32). I love the cutouts around the neckline — I used to own a similar tank by Leifsdottir in a couple of prints — and I also adore the longer length. Instead of pairing the top and jacket with flares, I picked up these AG Stilts which are $90 off right now.
Another jacket that caught my eye is this lovely oversized faux sheraling moto coat from Laundry by Shelli Segal. These were all the rage in NYC a couple of years ago when ACNE Studios had a $3,000 version…$150 on sale seems much more palatable by comparison. I love the idea of wearing this on super cold winter nights. Except of course that El Niño has other ideas and NYC set a new warm weather winter temperature record on Christmas yesterday so I’m not exactly feeling the urge to splurge on a winter coat right now. But if I was, this would be the one.
I also have my eye on this pair of boots (which comes in wide calf too!) and this pair, as well as these cute t-strap shoes. Are you looking to pick up anything from Nordstrom’s sale too?
