Anthropologie’s newest catalogue is new yet familiar, plus registry is here!

Pull up a chair and get ready to dog-ear some pages.
Anthropologie’s home catalogue is back!

You may have noticed the latest Anthropologie catalogue in your mailbox is a little different than most months…in that there are no clothes in it. What gives? Don’t worry, it’s not replacing your monthly dose of clothing pretty. It’s supplementing it.

Everything old is a new again? After a several year absence, Anthropologie noticed that its home category is doing very well these days and has decided to give this somewhat unloved corner of the business some more attention. They’ve launched a beautiful new home catalogue…and created an online registry!

The Vilas Velvet Daybed ($1898) and Luxe Fur Pillow ($108-$128).

The catalogue is 70+ pages of dream home goodness. From small decorative accents to large furniture pieces each page is staged to Anthroesque perfection. Chairs in front of tons of mirrors. A recliner randomly posed outside a country house. A vacant room full of nothing but chandeliers. You get the picture. I’m not listing these out sarcastically — I love every shot in this book! It’s so clear these photos were taken and staged with love…if only Anthropologie carried this passion over to its clothing section. There’s a behind-the-scenes featurette up on Anthro’s official blog.

Additionally, you might notice a new button on a lot of the home goods pages — add to registry. Yes it’s true, Anthropologie has finally joined the registry game. Whether you’re preparing for a wedding, housewarming, or just like making lists of things your dream home will have (and who can blame you?) Anthropologie has a relatively easy-to-use online registry that you can get started creating here. If you like your registry action done in person you can create your registry in-store at the following Anthropologie locations: 5th Avenue, Seattle; Beverly Hills, CA; Wayne, PA; Soho (NYC); Chicago Avenue in Chicago; Southlake, TX.

And if you are an architect, interior decorator or home design professional don’t forget about Anthropologie’s House & Home program. This program provides discounts and samples for all your business needs.

Have you taken a look at the home catalogue yet? Are you excited about the new registry feature?
