Thanks so much to longtime community member Liza who lives not too far away from the new Anthropologie Petites Boutique! This first Anthro of its kind is located in the former accessories store in Chevy Chase, MD (there’s a regular Anthropologie very close by). Liza visited the Petites Boutique during its opening weekend and shot a bunch of pretty photos for us! Eye Candy time.
Here’s Liza’s report:
The layout of the store is the same as it was with the shoes. It didn’t look like they changed anything.
They had a nice mix of tops, bottoms and dresses. I didn’t have time to try on anything but I definitely want to go back and try on a few items. I didn’t see a sale rack and forgot to ask if they plan to have one as items are marked down.
The store wasn’t busy while I was there (6pm Sat night) but the SA at the regular store said that they had been quite busy on Friday.

Not near Chevy Chase? You can always shop Petites online. This 5’8″ chick is doing a dance for a tall boutique, preferably located in Financial District, Manhattan. (I’m not picky or anything.)
Speaking of petites, Anthropologie is holding another round of Petite trunk shows in its stores around the country! In the NYC-Tristate area the next trunk show will be on August 22 & 23, 2013 at the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey. And on August 22 I’ll be there in the evening! It’s no short haul from Manhattan but it’s worth the trip! No, I’m not petite. But the store will also have all its regular wares out and I love the staff there to death, so how could I say no? Hope to see you there!
