Hope you have a great vacation, roxy, and thank you for letting me write a few short reviews for your blog while you are away.

Readers of my blog know I love pencil skirts. I find them to be the most flattering for my body type, and Anthro always has quite a few to choose from.

First is Level 99 Slim Denim Pencil Skirt ($88) size 27. This is my usual size in denim skirts at Anthro, J. Crew & Madewell. It hits slightly above the knees on me, at 5’6″. I paired it here with the Printed Panel Cardigan ($98) size S, navy color. There is also a raspberry version with an abstract printed pattern. The cardigan fits true to size and the knit is cotton. The printed panels are viscose and it is sewn onto the front, while the back is the solid navy color.

Next is the Alva Lace Pencil Skirt ($88) in red. I am wearing size S, my usual skirt size. The lace is cotton/nylon with a spandex lining. There is a hidden zipper at the back, which I didn’t really need to use in order to get in and out of the skirt. The length is 24″, and that hits below the knee. I tried on both colorways, and liked both the red and the navy. For a shorter look, I would choose a petite size which is 22″ long, but still long enough on me. The top is the Jane Pocket Tee ($38) in white. It also comes in mint, black, blue and pink.

I saved my favorite for the end. The Dual Foundations Pencil Skirt ($88) size S again. The name comes from the two layers of lace this skirt is made of. The lining is spandex, making this skirt very comfortable. For a casual look, I paired it with my favorite Anthro denim jacket, the Pilcro Denim Jacket ($128). I am wearing size S, or my size in jackets usually. This piece is cotton with a bit of stretch and is extremely soft. The front is a bit longer than the back, as you can see from the side photo below:

Which one is your favorite? Please share!

Hope you found the above informative and thanks for reading, eveyone!
