Wishlist: November 2012

Although I don’t need to buy any new clothing items at the moment, it doesn’t stop me from keeping an ever-growing wishlist of items I’d love to own. It helps me keep my budget in control by sorting through all the cravings I have. Some of the most recent additions after the jump — you can shop my entire wishlist on EA’s Cravings page. I’m dying to hear what’s on your wishlist right now!

MADEWELL BAGS.
This has already been a memorable bag year for me — I purchased my first CĂ©line earlier this year. My bag collection is healthy right now and yet every time I go into Madewell their bag selection tempts me. I’m in love with their current assortment, especially the Lovelock and Camden bags. They’re all large enough to hold my camera, foldable tripod and traveling office gear but not so large that I feel like I’m carrying a weekender. Madewell is running a 25% off sale promotion right now with the code YIPPEE. I ended up taking advantage, purchasing the Camden Satchel in the lower right box above. You’ll see it in an OOTD on The Parallel Universes Resolution tomorrow.

CLARE VIVIER CLUTCHES.
Another bag purveyor high on my list is Clare Vivier. Anthropologie has carried her pochettes in the past but right now you’ll have to go elsewhere to find them. I love both the lighter untanned leather and the darker tanned versions. The neon stripe is a fun little accent that can make an otherwise neutral outfit pop. The clutches come in either envelope, straight zip or foldover styles.

If anyone in the community owns one of Clare Vivier’s pouches, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! How do you wear yours?

HOUSE OF HARLOW NECKLACES.
I tend to avoid celebrity fashion lines out of a mixture of dubiousness and maybe a tinge of envy. They’re already famous and now they design too. But Nicole Richie has knocked it out of the park lately with her House of Harlow jewelry designs. So much so that I have three necklaces in my Bloomingdales cart right now, ready to grab them with 20% off during their Friends & Family promotion. (Use the code HOLIDAYFF.)

These necklaces are understated and the perfect length to wear with both casual and dressy looks. I love repeated elements in jewelry design and these necklaces will stand the test of trendy time. I’m excited to add them to my jewelry box!

RINGS.
Although I’m not into wearing many rings at once, I like to have a lot of options available to me. One way to get around wearing rings on many fingers is to stack them, and the shape of Jacquie Aiche’s rings are elegant and comfortable. Owls are always a hit with me, and Rachel Roy’s versions above have a great mix of bling and owl-y shape.

Or if you prefer, you could wear these on a simple gold chain around your neck. Sometimes I’ll do that just to get a few more rings into my look.

TORY BURCH.
Is it me or is Ms. Burch’s Fall 2012 line a little Anthroesque? Her cardigans and tops remind me of Charlotte Tarantola’s embellished designs, and the Arabelle Top is what I’d hoped the Onyx-Scalloped Blouse (now $60, review) would be. The price point is certainly higher but while I’m missing classic Anthro it may be worth the indulgence. And again if you purchase from Bloomingdales right now you can take advantage of their Friends & Family 20% off discount with the code HOLIDAYFF.

Are you a Tory Burch fan? I’m not too familiar with the brand aside from the omnipresent flats everyone seems to own.

AND A FEW OTHERS.
I’m in love with Raglan dresses right now, and while Saks Fifth Ave has the David Lerner Colorblock Dress in blue I much prefer Free People’s green version. My quest for the right Isabel Marant hi-top knockoff ended with Steve Madden’s Hilight, a comfy approximation that works well with my Level 99 Lily Skinnies tucked in. (OOTD upcoming.)

The rest of my wishlist lives on my Cravings page. What are you craving right now?
