For those that missed my comment in the Sale Guessing Game on Monday eve, I’m thrilled to pass along the news that Anthropologie Co-President Wendy Wurtzburger will be chatting with Anthro fans live tomorrow on Anthropologie’s website! The chat will focus on summer outfitting – i.e. what to wear to a beach wedding, Labor Day barbeque, and what to pack for a getaway, lakeside jaunt, etc. Wendy will be taking questions from customers and readers from 1-2 pm ET Thursday on this page. Come prepped with your questions or situations that you want styling advice for!
For those unfamiliar with Ms. Wurtzburger, she has a cool history with Anthropologie that any brand fan can appreciate. She served as Chief Merchandising Officer from August 2008 through late 2009 before becoming Co-President, overseeing some of the best designs Anthropologie has offered. Prior to that Ms. Wurtzburger was a merchandising manager for Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. Her buying choices are top notch in my opinion and I was excited to hear through the grapevine that she recently became re-involved with the buying process for Anthro. It can only mean great things to come!
The chat will focus on current and recent pieces, and general questions about what to wear for events, lifestyles and the like. I’m sad that I will miss the chat (though I am happy to be on vacation at the moment!).
